Had got cheap generic ones before with cheap gun, nothing stuck together. Got these glue sticks with the Gorilla glue gun and what a difference. Amazing quality and no problems with anything I used it on. Would recommend both these sticks and the glue gun itself
I always know I can't go wrong with anything made by gorilla brand. I refused to go with a cheaper glue stick as I would be sacrificing quality. these glue sticks hold very well. I've used them with my glue gun on crafts for years and they never fail to get the job done. I've had problems with several other brands of glue sticks and gorilla as always been the best in my eyes. I highly recommend these glue sticks when you want your product to stay together for the Long haul.
I received nothing by delivery, even though I paid for delivery. I waited for delivery…stayed home for it and listened for knock or doorbell. Nothing came. I then got notice later that my order could not be delivered because I was not home. They would/could not leave on porch, the driver took items back to the store for return. I had to go back to the store and get the items I needed and pain atthe register. I will never ever ever have my items “delivered” again. What a waste of a day for me waiting around for a delivery person.
As far as hot glue goes, I've used far too many different brands after having to use a glue gun at work to wrap soap for over ten yrs, lol. Many brands literally peel off like a temporary glue dot and if that is what you're going for, then this isn't the brand to use. This glue has stood up to handmade soap with lye and never peeled off! Matter of fact, if I made a mistake %26 put the wrong label on a batch, I'd HOPE I didn't use gorilla glue sticks that day bc it was going to mean the labels probably couldn't all be saved especially if I was in a rush. I also now use these sticks in my own handmade items from plastic to felt, to canvas, to many different materials except wood, don't use hot glue for wood, lol, use the glue specifically for wood and gorilla makes a great WOOD glue too, lol! My one best tip I ever learned.... If you get a lot of those annoying glue strings (I wouldn't know a thing about those bc of this tip), store your glue sticks in the freezer! It does not affect the product at all, you can go from freezer to glue gun even on low, and no glue strings! OK, maybe ONE, that's all I ever got is one, instead of 26 thin ones all over the place. I've used this tip for YEARS, even at work, and it's worked perfectly! I store my glitter glue sticks, colored sticks %26 fabric sticks all in bags or a plastic bin in my freezer. Hope this helps!
You'll find cheaper glue sticks than Gorilla and you'll find some priced the same, but with a whole lot more in the pack ---- but those are just tricks! Don't fall for the tricks! Cheap glue gun sticks don't last long! The cheap ones will melt away in less than half the time as a Gorilla Glue Stick, and the cheap ones even have the nerve to be sorry enough not to stick and bond properly!
Appreciate the quality of Gorilla as the sticks are uniform in size and easy to use. Craft items made 8 years ago still holding together
These glue sticks are terrific. They bond items very well! But boy can they get hot ...so watch where your fingers are when using. OUCH! 🤕
Gorilla hot glue works best on all my craft needs! Highly recommend over all other hot glue sticks! You just can't go wrong with Gorilla glue sticks, period!
I paid more money to get Gorilla Glue and I really am convinced after several times purchasing this product that I would actually get Gorilla Glue in the glue sticks. However, I do not think there is any Gorilla Glue in these sticks because they do not stick to plastic and like any other cheap glue stick after a while whatever you glued together falls apart which is disappointing. The other issue I have it's very stringy so when you are using this glue stck you are getting strings of glue everywhere.
They sent me the large one which I have NO use for I ordered the small ones!! I hate returning things that I buy on line especially holiday season!!
