Gorilla Permanent All Weather Black Tape 1.88 in x 10 Yard

I used this tape to seal a few holes in a tarp laid over bamboo roots. The plan is to solarize the area for 12-18 months, so I needed something ready in case the roots push through again. So far, it's holding up great and doing exactly what I need. None of the sealed patches have been breached.

Like pretty much all Gorilla products, this tape has some serious adhesion. Sometimes I evennhad trouble getting the tape to rollout-— it would get stuck in the roll and I would really have to pull hard to get it to continue dispensing—annoying, but considering how much of this stuff I use, I can live with it, because it has come in handy for so many projects! Gotta love the black too. Gorilla rocks!

it's pretty easy to use as long as you don't touch the sticky side that's what your fingers LOL but yeah this stuff's going to stick to just about anything and hold on but I also found that certain surfaces you stick it to if you do it the right way you can actually remove it without tearing it constantly into a million pieces good stuff little expensive but if you need to get it done that's the one to get

This has incredible strength and hold. When they say permanent, it is permanent. Once you put it on, you cannot get it off. Especially plastics. They called regular duct tape hundred mile an hour tape, because they would tape NASCAR vehicles together with it. I remember watching that on TV. This stuff is thousand mile an hour tape. I know I've used it on metal and plastic. I've never tried it on wood so I'm not sure how it would hold on wood. But it is incredible stuff.,

the carpet on my front porch was starting to fray, I edged it off with Gorilla Tape and it looks much better now.

There's not enough glue or adhesive on the tape, lately. It doesn't stick (like duct tape should) to anything, strongly! This is my 2nd roll of duct tape purchased that is lacking enough adhesive. I could pull it off of a paper towel. Iit's obviously a factory defect. I hope it gets resolved soon! Thanks for the opportunity to make you aware.

usually love gorilla stuff, this exterior tape had zero stickyness it slid off, it should be like a magnet, you should have to cut it off

If I could I would give this a 000 (triple 0 ) when I peeled this tape back I saw the gray netting, I assume this was the sticky part which was not attached to the black tape. This will be returned. I have used this tape before but not this particular type of Gorilla Tape. Actually I believe that Gorilla Tape is great, but this turned out to be a lemon!
