GOYA Plantain Chips, 10 oz Bag

All I can say is "YUMMY!!" I didn't know what to expect when eating these. The first bite was a bit salty but then it quickly went away and the banana flavor kicked it! Texture of these are just like backed chips. If I was to close my eyes and you gave this to me, I honestly wouldn't even know that it was plantain. I was so surprised at how much these taste like potato chips, but with less fat and less guilt. They're not oily like potato chips. They are perfectly salted and they are a good thickness. I got my Goya Plantain chips in the mail and they are delicious. I gave my two year old some and he liked them as well. They are good alone just as a snack or would be even better with some hummus. These Goya Plantain Chips have a nice lightly salted flavor and just the right amount of crunch to them. They are shaped like banana chips but don't taste like them at all. They taste like a regular potato chip and are good with guacamole or homemade salsa. There is about five servings per bag and 150 calories per serving. I like that they are gluten free and low sodium. I try to eat healthy and these are a nice snack. If you are looking for a healthier snack then these are worth trying. This chips have a good flavor that you get tired of it really fast, its something I would eat if I find it at my house but not something I would buy. The flavor its very plain and even do its healthy I tend to like more flavor in my food.the portion of the bag is very rich, you get a lot of chips but again I cant eat them a lot because I get bored of the flavor. Out of 5 people in my house hold (2 adults and 3 kids; 10,8 and 4) only one would eat them. I, myself, do not like bananas so this was a hard no for me while by husband loves bananas and he thought these were not good at all. My older two kids did not like the taste but the youngest said she did not like them but still continued to eat them. I believe that the texture was appealing to her since they were crunchy like a chip. However, these are not something I would ever purchase again or recommend to others.
