Best sauce base I have ever found
This is a fabulous sauce base. Whether you want to cook beef or pork or lamb it provides a terrific flavor base which you can use untouched, or which you can modify by adding some of your own touches. It's real easy to add some heat to it with some peppers. I buy this any time I can find it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

excellent tomato-based sauce, versatile
Excellent tomato-based cooking base for whatever you're cooking, or drop a dollop on your just-cooked spaghetti or any pasta and stir it in. Nice to keep in the refrigerator for when you just need to add a little tomato based flavor instead of wasting half a can of sauce.

Just like my Cuban mom's sofrito!
Add this to 2lbs ground beef or Turkey. Add raisins and olives. Cuban picadillo. Amazing! Serve over white rice. We absolutely love this. Reminds me of my childhood.
