Graco Tranzitions 3-in-1 Harness Booster Car Seat, Proof, Black

I don’t know why I waited for so long to purchase this carseat for my twins. Maybe because some reviews I read, it cannot be tightened and knowing I have 2006 Toyota tacoma truck. Guess what? it was an easy installation and way better than I had. My twins loved it already. It’s very lightweight and properly secured in the car. It checks the box ✅lightweight ✅ slimmer ✅affordable ✅easy to install ✅easy to wash/clean ✅perfect size for my twins ✅ love the color especially the purple/black for my twins girl.

I got my daughter the purple one about a year ago and I love it so I bought my son the same one in black. They’re very easy to install and easy to take apart to clean. I love that it’s the last car seat/booster I should need to buy. They’re also very lightweight and easy to move around. My kids find it comfortable and often fall asleep in it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter (almost 4) had outgrown her convertible car seat (not in height or weight, but in maturity and interest in sitting like the adults). This is the perfect next step to help her feel like a big kid, but still have all the safety protections she needs. This will be all she needs until she's a big kid and can sit on her own in the car.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this also had the anchors to attach in my car. I had heard of so many booster seats not having the anchors and just sat in the car using just the seat belt. I feel confident in the safety of my granddaughter when she’s in my car.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was not quite ready for the booster when my son was outgrowing the infant bucket car seat, so this was the perfect solution! Same graco quality as always. The buckle is a little different though, which we are still getting used to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Switched from an all in one to this for my older child. It provided more leg room and gave me a better view out the rear window. It provides the same Graco safety I had in my all in ones in a lighter package. The install was the same as my other Graco seats and it should be the last seat I but for my child as it can adapt as he grows.

After returning another seat , the unsatisfactory "Cosco" seat, I purchased this Graco abd what a huge difference! Excellent padding, sturdy base , back, and booster. ,buckles and harness are well placed, sewn well, and click in effortlessly making this gma feel safe and happy driving kiddos! Very satisfying !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the size and weight of the seat, taking one star off because its awful to install. I got this seat because I wanted to have a lightweight seat for my son in case of travel. However, I worry about my ability to quickly install it into a different car at a vacation destination. I haven't found anything on the market as affordable or lightweight so I decided to keep it, but the difficulty of install is really a drag. I search high and low for tips and tricks to make it easier but overall I haven't found a quick or easy way ot manage the install.

I would not recommend buying this product from Walmart. I ordered in February of 2026 and received an old stock car seat that has been on warehousing shelves since spring 2024. Physically unused but two yrs had passed on the usable life of the product as every Graco transition expires 7 yrs after manufacture date NOT PURCHASE. This would leave me with 5 yrs of use only. I return and buy direct from Graco is like $20-30 more but they send me a seat my child can use for the full 7 yrs. Look at the date stickers. Reported it to Walmart but upon looking at reviews for other Graco seats like the nautilus that was in my cart this is a common Walmart issue. Found that people ordering nautilus in 2025-2026 is getting product from 2023-2024 Going to have to order this one and nautilus through Graco or target.

Do NOT get this!! There is no way to get it installed safely! I I watched videos, messaged graco, messaged a CPST. Everything that I tried and that was recommended it did not install correctly. It moved 2 inches on one side no matter what I did to tighten the belt. It would be fine from side to side and on the inner side pulling it out but checking the outer side it moved way too much and ultimately I do not feel comfotable putting my son in it. It would be a lovely car seat if it was able to be installed because I like how it is all block, doesn't have a huge and in the way headrest, I like how it turns into a regular booster later and well and the not having to retheread the harness straps but it's not safe so it's junk. I'm hoping they will let me return it.
