in the big scheme of things why would you spend a fortune on paper that you're literally going to wipe your butt with? I am really impressed with how much further your dollar will stretch when it comes toilet paper purchases if you get this great value thousand 12 pack. typically I have to buy a new 12 pack of toilet paper every week this package is going to last me a month. if you've got kids that rip off way too much paper and you're tired of going into the bathroom and seeing that roll bare, this is the toilet paper for you!
If you want cushiony tissue, this is not for you. BUT if you want the same value you get with Scott's tissue, but for a better price. This is the tissue for you. This tissue lasts very long in my house of 5. They named this tissue correctly for it is a great value.
I have been a devoted Scotts toilet paper customer since I was in my 20s, but I am switching to Great Value brand 1000 sheets per roll. The qaulity is better, as well as the value for the money. I know everyone is funny about their toilet paper. Some like extra plush for the softness. This does the job, less likely to clog your toilets, and is just soft enough.
For those who prefer to NOT have those charmin dingleberries left behind after cleanup, need a tp that's tough enough to not disintegrate in your hand but also appreciate when their tp doesn't feel like 60 grit sandpaper, and can't justify paying Scott prices for something that literally gets flushed after every use? Here ya go! 😂 Holds up great during use, soft enough for one ply with no sacrifice in tensile strength, and it's septic safe...works for me!
bought the 12-pack of the Great Value 1000 sheets to compare it to the name brand Scott. Honestly? I can’t tell a difference. It’s the same 1-ply texture, but it’s a few dollars cheaper per pack. A single roll lasts my family of four nearly a week because there is just so much paper on there. Yes, it’s thin—you’ll probably need to fold it over a few times—but the cost savings over a year are massive. It’s my new go-to for everyday use.
I dislike the fact that this change from the 16 count to the 9 count package includes a price increase, which could potentially make $648,000,000 more for Walmart per year, and you can now read a newspaper through the toilet paper even better than before. I wish they would go back to this actually being a 'Great Value'
This package of tissue originally contained (16) rolls of tissue, and sold for about $11.92 (before taxes), making each roll costing around $0.75. Now, each package contains (12) rolls, selling for around $9.97, making the cost of each roll around $0.83. I would have preferred you all to have kept the 16-roll packages, and increased the price a dollar or so.
No! This toilet tissue is like tracing paper!! It feels like the hard brown paper towels that you dry your hands with except it's a lot thinner. It's rough to even wipe your nose with it. I would never buy these again and I definitely won't be using these as toilet paper any longer.
Most recent purchase 12/2025 was a total disappointment. No way this product compares to Scott tissue! So thin, that you can’t tear off the roll without leaving long strands of tissue. Something has drastically changed with this product. Stick with Scott tissue.
I've bought this item several dozens of times over ... then ... poof! it disappeared from the website. When this package showed back up after months of being out of stock, I pounced. Unfortunately, they used it's time off the shelf to drastically reduce the quality of the product. I mean I've seen tissue paper thicker than this. You're not saving any money by buying this. Excuse the pun, but this stuff is XXXX.
