Bought an 8 pack and over half of them flicker, it's subtle but very annoying. Will be buying a better brand
Had these before, then switched to daylight bulbs. After deciding the daylight bulbs were too harsh, switched back to these but then these seemed really dim so switched back to daylight. These are good and economical but just a little too dim for my use.
One of the bulbs is bad
This flood light bulbs are a very warm yellow light. That tone is just not my favorite. I prefer a cooler or brighter white. I haven't had these bulbs for long enough to know how long they will last, but I'm hoping they will be pretty efficient because they're LED
This is a pack of eight 7.5-watt LED soft white light dimmable floodlight bulbs, each with the light output equivalent of an approximate 65-watt incandescent bulb. They have a BR30 (medium) base, meaning that they are compatible with most fixtures with a standard socket and can replace more inefficient incandescent bulbs. At three hours per day of usage, the bulb is estimated to cost approximately 90¢ per year to operate, with a lifespan of over 9 years. They are also dimmable and shatter resistant, so that with their plastic lens and case, they operate cooler and are safer than glass incandescent or compact fluorescent bulbs. Since the bulb is a floodlight, it has a wide, bright beam which makes it particularly suitable for functions such as ceiling light (indoor or outdoor), recessed or track lighting, or outdoor fixtures such as in the eaves, over a garage, or entryway. It would be usable in an indoor fixture which, for example, overhangs my desk as it is not too bright for that application. I also noticed that the color of the light tends more toward blue than yellow (“cool”), which would make it more appropriate for applications where the fixture is farther away from the user. All in all, these bulbs are an excellent value for their application and provide an adequate amount of light for the energy used. Recommended.
These are energy efficient which is a plus. They are great for ceiling fans in vaulted ceilings because they light the whole room up nicely. They have a nice soft glow that’s warm and not harsh so easy on the eyes.A great plus is the long life , no need to replace often.
Great Value LED Light Bulb, 8W (65W Equivalent) BR30 Floodlight Lamp E26 are a bright, crisp light for any part of your home! As I get older, my eyes get a little weaker, and I need a brighter light to read. I put one of these bulbs in my reading lamp and was amazed at the difference from my old bulb to this one! The light is brighter, crisper and makes reading easy again! The bulb is dimmable, so you can customize the brightness you prefer. The bulbs are compatible with all my lighting fixtures, including my outside light by the door. The manufacturer states these can last 22 years, so the value is amazing! Great Value LED Light Bulb, 8W (65W Equivalent) BR30 Floodlight Lamp E26 is perfect for any home!
Color is good (accurate warm white), no flicker. As you can see, I even put them in the ceiling fan - they work OK in that application. Note that the body and lens are 100% plastic - lightweight, unlikely to shatter, but I do wonder about the risk of the lens yellowing over time....but won't really know for years. Clearly, indoor only
Wow, I love these LED light bulbs. I also like the idea that it is soft white. I need lots of lights but I don't need so much it hurts my eyes. I do genealogy indexing while sitting in my living room in my recliner. If I do not have enough light I get headaches. The brightness of these bulbs are 1400 lumens. These are large bulbs but they fit a regular light socket. I love the thought they will last twenty-two years but I can't attest to that since I just recently started using them. Another plus is that they are shatterproof. I have a small dog and I would not want him to step on broken glass. Last year I had a regular light bulb blow so this is really reassuring for me as a pet owner. The main reason I recommend these light bulbs is the energy that they save. They are 100 watt bulbs but they only use the energy of a 14 watt bulb. Everything is so expensive already the thought that I am actually saving money is a huge plus. I will be replacing all of my lights bulbs now. These bulbs are a Walmart brand, Great Value. I have found the Great Value products to be of great quality. I can't say enough about this brand and these bulbs. This is my honest review.
Good bright bulb with good coverage - took advantage of the lower energy consumption of the LED to double up the bulbs in my attic which was always dark, much better now. Light quality (color) very good - warm as promised. Only thing to note is the shell (including the lens) is all plastic. That makes it quite light to handle, but not sure given the expected long life of the bulb (20 years) if there will be a risk of yellowing. Check back in 5 years, I guess
