Great Value Complete Pancake & Waffle Mix, Extra Fluffy, Original, 5 lbs

When it comes to pancake mix, I have tried them all, including making it from scratch. for me, my opinion is, though most are good and satisfying, Great value brand was the best for quality, fluffiness, and overall satisfaction. to use with Great value syrup is a winning combination.

From a no-nonsense Latina mom in my forties: This pancake %26 Waffle Mix is a solid base for busy mornings. It makes fluffy pancakes and waffles with minimal effort. For extra flavor and texture, thse are my hacks: add applesauce for moisture, a teaspoon of baking soda or powder, vinegar to help rise, a little sugar, dash of cinnamon, vanilla, and molasses and there you have deluxe waffles every time. If I'm in a cake mood, I pour the batter into a small pan and wind up with a tasty mini cake. Add strawberries or blueberries right on top before baking, or fold in a spoonful of peanut butter for protein. Air fryer for 20 minutes or so at 350. Add some spices and frosting and you've got yourself a dessert.

We tried the Great Value pancake mix as an alternative to the Aunt Jemima/Pearl Milling, considering the substantial price difference of $1,99 vs $3.28 for a 2 lb box. We found the taste to be good and now we buy the 5 pound box of Great Value at $4.98.

I'm used to mixes and homemade that require milk, oil, eggs. I was hoping for good. What I got was the lightest, fluffiest, most delicious pancakes I'd ever had. (I did add a little olive oil to the batter the first and only time just because I had it there and could, but I don't think it would have made a difference anyway.) Absolutely delicious!

Over the years I've tried so many pancake mixes when I don't have time to make them from scratch. This one is by far the best! It comes close to tasting line homemade. My family likes it too. The price is great! Try it, I don't think you will be disappointed.

So easy. Just add water or milk. No need for eggs, oil, baking powder, vanilla, or anything but the mix and liquid. That being said, you sure can add vanilla or almond or orange extract. Dress it up as you will; this is an easy starting point.

I suggest making the pancakes with milk versus water. they puff up higher and are not as dry. I purchased this product not only for pancakes but also for baking cupcakes and quiches.

Great product and reasonable price. Just add water to the mix makes it easy and convenient. I have ordered this item several times and it has arrived with the product box crushed on corner or side, but product inside still okay.

Brought 5 lbs of pancake mix. Opened package full of black bugs!!! Call to get refund and agent agreed and few days later received email stating wouldn't because it was delivered to correct place!!! That was never the issue!!!! Shame on Walmart!!!! Thinking about canceling my membership! Beware!

The inner bag had a slice down the middle and created a mess. Terrible quality control. I bought 2 boxes and both of them had an issue. How many people love spending money on products you can not use? I suppose we are supposed to get in our vehicle and waste gas and time over this? Quality control is important.
