Betty Crocker Bisquick Pancake and Baking Mix, Original, Giant Size, 96 oz

even tho it's true that you can mix up a blend like bisquick, some like the convenience of just measuring or pouring out 1 dry item. homemade biscuits can be made easily with self-rising flour, salt, small shot of vinegar & warmed milk or warmed canned milk. but bisquick keeps better on the shelf then any flour. it has been a staple item in the home, since I was born & Mom used it for everything, coffee cakes, coating for veggies & meats, makes ok dumplings, when items for dumplings was unavailable(like butter to work into a crumbled product into AP flour & salt, before adding liquid)- pie crust ect. so I guess you can say I purchase this due to the convenience in my older age & memories of days gone by. I plan on mixing some of this with a buttermilk blend & powdered milk, so all I have to do is add water. some say you can use just water to bisquick straight up - but the results are somewhat bland, passable, but not as great. mixing this with the items as I stated makes a great - good2go - survival item - emergency food item or just when you're in hurry. glad I found this in bulk, way better cost & shipping was fast & care taken in all items in order - thanks, will be back soon for more, family gift giving, nothing says more then Love then giving food : )

Great product and very convenient 96 oz size/ Makes perfect biscuits as well as Dumplings. Box will stand on shelf or lay on side in refrigerator which is recommended to maintain freshness/ I transfer to an empty one gallon ice cream or frozen yogurt pail/ Saving the recipes after cutting from box with cookbooks

This is an incredibly personal and useful product. It can be used for so many different things and the results are excellent and every application I've ever tried. I have used it to make biscuits, pancakes, waffles, shortcake and dumplings and more. Very worthy.

I hadn't used Bisquick in years but decided to order some shipped in my order of other items. I'm so glad I did. I've been using it for everything and it's great. Makes wonderful drop cheese/sausage biscuits. I happen to still have my little Bisquick cook book so I made brownies one day and they were wonderful also.

This makes yummy pancakes, drop dumplings, %26 biscuits, so easy to use! I always try to keep some on hand.

I really love Bisquick. You get all the glory from your family for 'homemade biscuits' without all the 'extra' work. And, the cobbler recipe is wonderful. You can go to the internet and search bisquick this or that, and find all kinds of recipes. Cuts a lot of work out of many recipes.

I enjoy buying this large size.

I used Bisquick today after having not used it in years. The formula has been changed and not for the better. I am an experienced scratch biscuit maker, but chose this while traveling bc of time / convenience issues. I followed the box directions exactly and found the liquid amount to be grossly short of what is needed. And, they taste sweet - yuck!!! I doubt I'll buy this again. It's a shame because it used to be one of the two boxed mixes I would buy.
