This is so tasty if you enjoy dill. The consistency is not as firm as other great value flavored cream cheese. I made a Deviled Ham. regular Cream Cheese Block, Green Onion. Shredded Smoked Gouda, and packet of Ranch Dressing Ball. . it was divine! I highly recommend. however if you need firm make a dip not a ball. So Delicious.
I love this dill pickle cream cheese. It's great on sandwiches and wraps. It gives you that dill taste without the wet pickle juice dripping all over and making your sandwich soggy by lunch time. Highly recommend, especially if you are a pickle lover.
I bought this for my child who was going through a pickle loving stage. I wasn't sure she'd like this, but she finished the whole container in a few days! Texture is soft and flavor is pickle but just the right amount of pickle taste. I ended up loving it as well. We have bought several times since our initial purchase and will continue to purchase as it tastes great! I was surprised!
This is a new kind of spread for me. I decided that it should be good on any sandwich that was good with cheese and pickles. Might melt too fast with a hot burger but it is also going to be nice as a cracker spread, pretzel dip or vegetable plate offering. This will give chips a dill flavor instead of you buying a bag of dill flavored potato chips. You can clearly see the finely chopped dill in the spread, which has a light green appearance that would add color to a party platter. I believe the vinegar and dill will make this spread last for 6 months in the fridge mold free if you use it up slowly. Which might help in my case because I now have three different flavored GV cream cheese spreads in my fridge. Room for improvement -these spreads would be more convenient in squeeze tubes which would keep the air off the contents for a longer storage life after opening.
I picked this up to try something a little different, and the flavor was better than I expected. If you like dill pickles, this has that tangy, slightly salty taste right away, but it's balanced by the creaminess so it's not too strong. What I like about this is how easy it is to use. The obvious way is on a bagel or toast, and it works really well for that, especially if you want something quick with a little more flavor than plain cream cheese. But it doesn't stop there. I've also used it as a spread for sandwiches, and it adds a nice kick without needing extra condiments. You can also get a little creative with it. It works well as a dip for crackers or even vegetables, and I've tried a little bit with wraps, which actually turned out really good. If you like simple snack ideas, you can spread it on bread, add some deli meat, and you've got something quick without much effort. The texture is smooth and easy to spread straight out of the tub, which makes it convenient when you're putting something together fast. If you enjoy dill pickle flavor and want something different that you can use in a few different ways, this is definitely worth trying.
Just an inviting flavor of dill pickle and cream cheese spread over your finest thin breads, sesame crackers all seem reborn with this fine, light tastebud pleaser!!!
To me it didn't taste like a pickle it was more like dill. it wasn't horrible just not for me. I don't know if I'd eat it on a bagel but as a veggie dip it might be good. I tried it with crackers which may be why I didn't like it. If you like pickles don't let my review stop you from trying it because you may like it
I love pickles and was looking forward to this spread. Unfortunately, this was a miss for me. The pickle flavoring was really strong to the point of being unpleasant. It feels unbalanced and the pickle overpowers the cream cheese. It has good texture and consistency just like any other cream cheese and it spreads well. Unfortunately, this was a miss for me.
I am a huge dill pickle fan and this tastes artificial and nothing like dill pickle. Not a fan of it at all and I truly was looking forward to liking it because I have yet to find a comparable one the market. It was a huge let down. Save your money and do not buy it.
This stuff is awful! It's runny! I put it on a bagel and it ran off the edges. Good thing I was using a plate or it would've been all over the place. Gross. I won't be buying it again.
