Great Value Double Zipper Half Gallon Freezer Bag, 40 Count

This was the first time I got the half gallon freezer bags and I LOVE THEM. They are the perfect size for repackaging the meats I buy to freeze for later use. They can hold quite a bit more than the quart size and I don't have wasted bag space like with the gallon bags. I like to label and date the meats after I repackage them and the printed space for that on the front of the bags takes indelible marker perfectly. I can reuse these when I use them for dry goods like cookies or cereal. They are cleaning than the provided packaging for meats and they allow me to buy family packs and portion them out for future meals without worrying about freezer burn,

You know when your frozen item fits only half way in a gallon bag, and the other space literally keeps air in causing freezer burn. Yeah, no thank you. Half gallon bags. WHAT? The best invention since sliced bread. Now I can put my one serving sirloin and know it won't suffer freezer burn. So much waste with all that space. 📢 and saves on freezer space. 👍🚀🌙🎯🪃. I used one of these for the first time today. I just thought I'd try them instead of the quart bags. they give you just that little bit of extra room you need sometimes. I think you should be able to reuse these quite a few times as they're quite heavy. I use them to freeze leftover meat in. can't afford to let it go to waste these days. Try some for leftover beef or chicken that you can use for soup later. They just seemed to be a very nice convenient size.

These work great for things that you want to freeze that are just a little too big for the quart size baggies and you don't want to have to use up your gallon sized freezer baggies plus they take up less space in your freezer!! I haven't had any trouble with them sealing but I haven't used them for anything liquid yet.. plus you save money by using these when you can instead of using the gallon sized!!

Oh, Half-Gallon Zipper Bags, where have you been all my life? I've spent so much time and money on wasteful gallon-size bags, filling them half-full and then folding the extra bag over so it's half the size. And now! Here you are, my perfect size bag for so many things in my life! Half-bag of French fries? Stick it in a half-gallon bag! Half a batch of cookie dough? Freeze it in a half-gallon bag! Half of a giant sub from New Jersey Michael's? That's right... keep that giant boy in a half-gallon bag for lunch tomorrow! Seriously, though, it's the perfect size for all those half open bags of freezer foods that need to go back in the freezer, so you don't waste space or money with a full size bag.

Great size. I usually get the gallon size bags but tried these. I still use the gallon size when I need to, but this size really fits my needs better. The seal is secure and the bags are strong. I've never had any leaks. Good for wet or dry food. I have one that holds crayons; very versatile product. Great buy

Love these 1/2 Gallon “Double Zipper Lock” Freezer Bags! They were just the right size we needed for our 18-20 pound mini golden doodle's food we make in advance and freeze her 3-4 day portions for up to 2-4 weeks vs using a container that takes up more freezer space! They come out of the freezer and thaw out perfectly, the day before needed. We were using Quarts and Gallon bags but it was either a bit small or too much once her food thawed. Perfect for anything else that goes in the freezer too!

noticed that sometimes just don't need a full gallon bag so started using the half gallon controls portions and waste and takes less space in freezer these were on sale and have been using them for the past year. Just enough for two good sized portions of leftovers or pre prepping to cook later for freezing or fridge. they microwave as well. I have even used as an icing bag just clip the tip on one corner easier than a gallon size bag less fuss and waste

Purchased Walmart brand freezer bags many times. But for atleast the last 2-3 purchases they do not hold seal( for more than 2 seconds). This problem has left me with 100's of dollars in freezer burnt food. I use great care in sealing bags up, but they just aren't air tight(as FREEZER BAGS are supposed to be)!

You charged me $15 for this one item and it was just a small bag of I had already canceled it. You charged me $35 for delivery and I told you to cancel it and you charge my bank that much so don't worry I'm taking care of it at the bank they're coming after you so is that Government over my EBT card?
