These freezer bags are durable, seal tightly, and do a great job protecting food from freezer burn. The slider closure makes them quick and easy to use, especially when my hands are full. They're a great value compared to name brands, and I always keep a box in the kitchen.
These are so convenient for storing food, they close (closure) easy enough, though some of the bags get struck and it requires a little more of a tug then I remember. They are strong (strength) and seal well. We use these not just for food, but they make good covers for the artwork my daughter does, so that dusting the artwork is easier and it preserves her hard work and talented creations. We just cut the closure off and tape up the bag around her art pieces. I am not sure about long term use for the art but for now it is cheaper than buying frames for her work. We also use these to store, cosmetics, and others things.
These bags are nice and sturdy and will not rip. The sealer slides open and closed very easily and will not leak or come off track or 'freeze in the 'shut' position' in the freezer. I also find these bag to do quite well in protecting foods from 'freezer burn' in the freezer, and it also stope 'frost flakes' from forming on food.
Sometimes you just don't want to dirty a large Tupperware container. I also use these for a head of lettuce. Seems to stay fresh for a longer period of time. Also, when I purchase a large Danish from the bakery, I transfer the piece to a gallon Ziplock and place it in the refrigerator to keep it fresher longer. Same reasoning with the quart size bags.
Much easier to use compared to the snap together zipper bags. You can get to your food faster using this style bag. My new favorite type of freezer bags.
they do their job as they should wr have never switched brands and we use a lot of freezer bags for meat and storing things. no frost bite ever. theyre good bags and better priced
These are good in all respects, EXCEPT they are not air tight. The bag type without the zipper can be made air tight. If you are like me and squeeze and then suck out the air, this is not the bag for you. Within 5 minutes you'll notice the air has leaked in. If that is not an issue for you, this is a 5 star rating. If you need air tight, buy the other type of bag.
Press to close is about half the cost to make. These are too expensive. They dont prevent freezer burn if you dont dry off your items and get all possible air out of the bag.
The zippers will not zip It takes awhile to get them matched up to zip and then It cost me a lot of money because the bag came open really easily and I dumped cooked prize Brisket on the floor. Also they have come open in the refrigerator and spilt stuff all over! The seal is not good and ease of use is a 1 on a scale from 1-5
I don't know if these are any good because the box was as flat as a pancake when it arrived because some idiot smashed in order to fit in a Walmart bag instead of putting in a SHIPPING BOX and sending it via UPS or FedEx. Seriously the number of items that Spark drivers and shoppers manage to destroy is not funny. Stop using Spark so our items aren't damaged and don't show up at 11 PM at locked apartment buildings.
