Great Value Fresh Seal Slider Zipper Bags, Gallon Storage, 40 Count

They stand up well against the big name brand bags. I had several leftover biscuits from breakfast, which I placed in the bag, pressing out as much air as I could before sealing with the slide, and put it in the fridge, which I forgot about for several days, and then when I opened them on day 4, they were as fresh as the morning I put them in.

When comparing Great Value zippered bags to the name brand Ziploc, they do nicely. I am not fond of regular reclosable food bags whether plain or containing a food product bought at the store. I have no patience in trying to line up the gripper on this kind of bag, so I keep a good supply of bag clips handy; if I don't hit the closure squarely on the first try, I grab a bag clip. Life is too short to hassle with trying to close a sealable bag. I buy Great Value zippered bags because they are cheaper, than the name brand and a great value;)

These slider bags have become a staple in my kitchen. The seal is strong, the slider moves smoothly every time, and the bags feel sturdy enough for everything from leftovers to freezer storage. I get this brand because it's cheaper and does the job. I don't store meat in them but I use for everything and even reuse. I do use for leftovers sometimes and I have never had a problem with them.

These gallon slider zipper bags are an awesome value compared to name brands and work just as well. The zipper seals smoothly every time and actually stays closed without popping open. The plastic feels thick and durable, not flimsy or cheap. I use them for food storage, freezing and organizing household items with no issues. Great quality for the price and a regular purchase in our home.

I use these gallon zip glider bags for food storage as well as greasy and/or stinky kitchen trash. The zip glider is easier to close and open than the cheaper press and seal plastic bags. In the past I would have given this product a 5 star rating. However, in my last shipment, about 40% of the bags were defective and not properly attached to the zipper.

I do use a lot of these in my crafting business and they work great for that but the problem that I have with them every time is when I fill them with liquid then the liquid leaks out of them every time!! I have to set the bag filled with liquid in a large bowl to catch what leaks out.!! I went with another brand to use just for my liquid projects but I still use this brand most of time for everything else because it is so affordable to use!!

I have the same bag but in blue zip color, and I purchased it believing it was the same product, but this red zip one is very cheap quality, very thin plastic and not solid seal zip, like it won't longer as the blue one. If I lived near Walmart surely I would return if and buy a blue one or other brand.

Sorry to say this is the second time I ordered these bags and there's a flaw in every one of them. There's a big slit all the way across where the slider goes so you can't use them. There's a big hole. I am going to request a refund of these bags at this time. The last time I didn't. I have never had a problem with any of Great Value bags. I'm not sure what happened. Sorry the pictures are not great. The best are probably the first two as you can see the hole. Sorry. Please advise what to do from here. Thanks.
