Great Value Ground Cayenne Red Pepper, 5.2 oz

i use it to sprinkle around flowers and plants to keep varmints from eating them- it really works-i also sprinkle it on everything under the hood of my car to deter rats and mice from moving in and chewing the wiring- it works great for that too- -

I use cayenne pepper for cooking and for health for immunity. This 5.2 oz container was a great price as I use this frequently. I really like Great Value products and buy this brand whenever available. I highly recommend this product for cooking and as an herb.

I use this cayenne pepper on eggs, chicken, and even roasted potatoes and broccoli. It is just as good as the more expensive ones. As good as this is on food, it also works well to deter ants. I sprinkle some by areas where I have seen ants, so long as it is a spot where our pets don't get to, and it works great to keeps ants out.

i love it , im come from a small island and i had never used this product. but since ive came out and pepppers went out of stock , this wouls be my resort

I bought this to make tea, and yes, it's great for that. It's decently priced, the bottle is constructed for easy use and it tastes great. Tea isn't the only thing I make with it as it is more economical than black pepper.

i use for sprinkle in and around my tiger lilies and the rabbits will not eat the blooms. my daughter in law sprinkle s on her foods and says very tasty.

One more time, the non-brand name saves money and is just as good as the name brand. Other than lower cost, I can't tell a difference between this one and the brand name.

Mixed this with birdseed to deter a mouse from eating fallen seed. The mouse didn't care, and squirrels ate it as if it were normal birdseed. Guess it's not that spicy.

With the label of “red pepper”, I expected it to be very spicy., like the ingredients used in Cajun cooking.. This product is major fail. It is very sweet. It is missing the spicy “kick”. Even white and black pepper are spicier than this product. Very disappointing. Unfortunately, I purchased the larger size, and now I'm stuck with an item that will more than likely be unused. A total waste of money. My advice to other consumers is to skip the Great Value version and invest in a name brand . It's worth the few extra pennies.

We are disappointed. I usually purchase organic cayenne/red pepper. It is always very hot AND full of flavor. This one is not hot and is very one note. I took a chance because of the large size and the great price. We all use cayenne on everything, but this one is not going to work. Very disappointed.
