Great Value LED Light Bulbs, 60 W Equivalent, Soft White, A19 General Purpose, 9 Year, 4 Pack

I purchased these bulbs to replace a bulb with blue tint. Blue tint gets under my skin and annoys me. These bulbs are a soft yellow tint bulb. ( it's not annoyingly bright. I have no idea why it asked about brightness. I got the to not be obnoxiously bright). These bulbs are great for a calmer atmosphere. I highly recommend for places you spend time in the evening.

as my son was screwing this new bulb in, he dropped it from the fixture located in the ceiling at the top of the stairs, we both tensed up waiting to hear it shatter, but it hit the step and bounced instead, all the way to the bottom of the stairs, hitting several steps along the way and landed on the concrete basement floor without a single scratch or bump and the bulb still works!

I have to admit, I'm old school and was used to the traditional glass light bulbs 💡. these are not only a fantastic price, but they last for 9 years! my porch light has an automatic sensor so the lovely glow of soft white light come on by itself at dusk and then turns off at dawn. an added bonus is the bulb itself is made of plastic, so no more broken glass if you drop it.

previously wrote a review on the 40 watt bulbs which i received along with these 60 watt ones, review was written based on my using a 40 watt bulb in a small table lamp, light effect was horrible kinda like florescent lighting but then later i replaced that 40 watt with one of these 60 watt and what a difference, nice bright lite and will recommend and purchase again, 40 watt bulbs will be unused and put in back of storage closet or just tossed out!

I purchased an end table lamp last year. It takes a 15 watt bulb. Well the bulb burned out, so that set me on my lightbulb journey. Well, I quickly learned that we have options... I found on Walmarts website a 9 Volt bulb that emits light like a 60 Watt bulb! So, I purchased a package and when they arrived, they did not disappoint. Its a warm bright light, not glaring. And only uses 9 volts of electric. According to the PKG. they last approximately 9 years.

these days, it's pretty much impossible to mess up a light bulb. The only differentiation is how bright the bulbs are and how much heat they throw off. these bulbs are very bright based on their wattage rating and throw off sort of a medium amount of heat so they can be used in fixtures with glass coverings of course, The Price is Right and sometimes that's what seals the deal. in my case I'm very happy with the purchase

These new bulbs are not the quality of our old 75 watt and 100 watt bulbs. They may save energy, and last a long time, but for someone like myself who needs bright overhead light to see and read, they do not compare with the good old days of light bulbs.

These bulbs deliver proper functionality for their price, but the false advertising on the box is absolute GARBAGE. They do not last 9 years, I've been lucky to get a year to 18 months before they begin malfunctioning such as blinking on and off and when the switch is turned off they slowly fade and then die. Again, for the price they are 100% worth buying, but there IS false advertising on the box.

I ordered 12 LED light bulbs, warm white color. I'm very happy with this purchase. I am not happy with the delivery. Only 11 bulbs arrived. This box of 12 bulbs arrived within a larger box with other Walmart items. But this box had been opened and reclosed with tape. Suspicious, I looked and sure enough, someone at Walmart had nicked one of the bulbs. Sad. But 11 bulbs were plenty for my project so I used them. But I am complaining here.

Do not buy Great Value lightbulbs in any shape or form including the led recessed down lights. All of their lights only last about 4-5 months even thought the box says 9 years or more. And since Walmart only has a 90 day return policy, customer service will do nothing to fix the issue. You've been warned!
