My husband is always saying if he had potato chips to go with ? but he complains about the salt content in about everything I buy. I had a hankering for potato chips and purchased these. I'm used to salty chips and I feel I need salt sometimes. I tried these and at first I wasn't getting my fix. I munched on them a week before I decided I really liked tasting more of the potato than the salt. I will purchase these the next time I get a potato chip craving.
These are low salt but they are fantastic. You can try other stores' brands, but they're not wavy, they are too thin and thus not satisfying. If you're trying to count the chips, they're all broken up so it's impossible! These are the best. So much better than Lays.
i'll start this by saying i am sooo weird about off brand chips, i didn't expect to like these but being less than half the price of name brand chips i had to at least try them. until i am rich i probably won't get name brand chips again! really good
If you don't like too much salt on your food or the doctor has told you to cut salt from your diet, then this is for you. The human body contains approx. 100 grams of sodium at any given time. These taste great and having things in moderation is better than having nothing at all.
I never used to buy the wavy (ripple) chips. We started buying the lightly salted version of regular chips when they became too salty for our taste. But they would break in the dip, and we wasted more than we ate. These solve all the issues, and we love them!
I never buy Potato Chips but one time I had to get some for a holiday . I bought the Great Value Wavy chips because it was the least expensive. However, I was surprised at how good they were. I now have purchased them every time I'm shopping at Walmart.
I get these because many other chips seem to have too much salt, these are just right for me. I like the Wavy better than the Ripple because they hold up better when eating them with a dip. As long as the delivery people treat them as fragile and don't tie the bag tops down and crush them, they have lots of large, unbroken chips to enjoy.
If you live in the Midwest or Southeast then your chips will be fresh and crunchy with full flavor. If you live in the Southwest, AZ, CA. or anywhere it is hot during the day, then your chips will suffer from transportation heat that degrades any type of chip or nut shipped that is refrigerated during shipment. To many problems when I lived in the Southwest with these items.
These are definitely low on salt but they just don't have the good flavor that the regular chips have. They were very big and crunchy and they didn't have bunches of crumbs in the bottom of the bags. I definitely like that. They are just low on flavor. My husband and I may try them again anyway. Perhaps we just got a bad bag.
The taste of the chips were fine, it was the shopper was not conscious of how they bagged my chips, or they just was not careful in the transition of the delivery as almost the whole bag was crunched up. This is another Item I will never order online as bread is another, as well as produce. I did not have much luck with online delivery with these 3 items, therefore I will not order these items for online delivery again. Everything else I ordered was fine.
