Great Value Microfiber Twist Mop with Self-Wringing Ratchet and Removable Head

the cotton stings are just more absorbent to me and with all this raim scurubs the grime good and sand. i use with liquid pinesol or other floor cleaner, easy to ring without touching strings.

I use a swiffer for light cleaning, but really needed a mop for cleaning my tile floors. We also just got a new puppy and needed something light for quick cleanups. This mop works great for light duty or deep cleaning. The mop has a great ratchet feature that allows you to remove excess water before and after cleaning. Super light weight so you can mop large areas without feeling like your arms are giving out. It's super soft mopping head will clean great without scratching some less durable flooring. I've used a mr clean mop for years and it used to streak badly. This one is super absorbent so no streaks or dirt lines left behind.

I am very glad I tried this Wringing Ratchet Microfiber Twist Mop. No bending over and ringing the mop with your hand. Soak the new mop, ring it with the easy slide and give it a fey trust and wala, you've got only a slightly moist mop. It's easy cleaned, rinsed and ready for the next mopping. The fiber head is easy replaced also.

Today I am reviewing the great value self wringing microfiber twist mop. My first impressions were that it was pretty neat. I took the packaging off of it here while back and found a crack in the tip; this made part of the mop come off the handle. I wasn't going to let that stop me from making the mop work, so I took a drill, a screw, and some ABS plastic from a broken 3d print I had lying around, and made a makeshift washer to keep the mop head on. It works well after doing so. So far, this has worked very well. Anyways, to use this mop, you dip it in your solution, then pull the blue grip up to the white sleeve and proceed to twist it to wring the mop out. Then you push it off the sleeve and your mop is ready to go. I mopped my kitchen, then my bathroom, and then a small carpet-less area by my front door. It did a good job at removing sticky residue from my kitchen, and a little dried mud by my door, despite it having a small head on it. I like it a little more than my Mr. Clean twist mop which has a much more difficult to replace head. Overall, I'm a thin line between recommending it and avoiding it, but if you can make sure that yours doesn't have a cracked tip, or if you are able to improvise, you'll get plenty of good use out of it. I've gotten good use out of mine and definitely see it lasting a good bit into the future.

I ordered the great Value Mop to replace my Libman tornadoes I always buy because the Libmans don't last long and get tangled up too easily. The Great Value has way better construction on all counts except one. The mop is light and airy. It is also very long. I see too many replacement heads in the future. Why construct something so much better only to skimp on the actual mop itself? Maybe it won't be destroyed in a month, but my guess is that it will. The handle is far better than Libman's, though, so that is a plus. I wanted to use it to wash my walls. I doubt it can handle it. Maybe I'm wrong and it will work out fine. I don't know. I just know it feels like fluff and I need tough. Exceptionally well constructed but the callouses on my hands even catch on the fibers like a pair of nylons. I think it will get over stretched within 3 or 4 uses. So soft and cuddly, but that ain't what I'm looking for. I have textured walls. UGH!

I didn't like this mop because the head strings are so short, much shorter than on my olderit works ok, but needs a longer mop head and easier release mechanism. mop. When I wrung it out, the mop head got stuck on the handle. It too 2 hands to release it.

Thought I had found a good mop! First time using, 2nd time wringing out it came apart. There was a piece of foam that fell out from somewhere! Never figured out from where.

the sponge wedged in the bottom came off on the first rinse, making the whole mop head unstable because it was not centered anymore. i would spend more next time and get a better mop.
