Great Value Original Cheese Dip, Cheddar Flavor, 16 oz (Shelf-Stable)

I was hesitant to purchase, I lived on chez whiz and peanut butter when I was in college. I still love it today. This product tastes better than cheese whiz. Of course , that is my personal opinion and it is a much cheaper price.

Can't really tell the difference from the "pricey stuff". Walmart brand has come A LONG way in taste/texture. Kind of hate to praise this, as you're going to buy it, like it, tell somebody....bang...up goes the price, down goes the availability. (enjoy it, save some money, but keep it to yourself)

I had to use this in an emergency fondue party. Has a great option to making the stuff from scratch and has a great flavor. Great price and hold heat well.

This is great on hot sandwiches, and making in kind of dish that calls for melted cheese.

I've only ate it once since I purchased it but I like it okay. I'm not sorry I purchased it. I'll be buying more in the future.

The name brand of Cheese in a jar has more flavor than Walmart's brand, but Walmart's price is a lot better. This cheese had a "jelly" type consistency which was odd, but it does add more flavor to boxed types of mac and cheese.

I wouldn't buy this again. it was too thick and had to be heated in the microwave in order to eat it. it had a very fake taste, not like real cheese. it was messy and not at all what I had expected as a cheese dip to be. oh well I guess you don't know until you try but it was not something that I liked. I was really looking for the Fritos cheese dip but it was unavailable at all times so I settled for this but it was nothing like it.

This product doesn't melt it just stays this "plastic" like glob. Guess that's what I get for buying cheep and trying to save a few bucks.

I ordered Great Value Cheese Dip for my son (who is in extreme pain waiting for major back surgery). A little something, he could enjoy while he's stuck at home. When it arrived the lid was popped. The cheese had been opened and someone had been eating out of it! UGH! Needless to say, another DISAPPOINTMENT. There are countless previous damaged items like broken jelly jars that left a nice stain on my sofa from the bottom of the box, 2 packs of Gillette Fusion 5 razor packs ($30 a pack) I received knock offs. There were no Gillette markings on the razors, and they weren't in Gillette packaging. My son looked at reviews online and found the same thing happened to others. Others commented and warned not to use the razors because they would tear your face up. I also received knock off Hanes underwear! I didn't return items because I am an amputee and don't drive. My son isn't driving right now because of pending back surgery. I am really frustrated with Walmart. What next?

Reading the ingredients, I'm not sure this should have the word "cheese" in the name. It's a semi-gelatinous paste material, with an orange color to it. It's hard to get past the texture. There's very little flavor, and I would not call that flavor cheese. I couldn't eat it.
