Green Mountain Gringo Salsa, Medium, 16 Oz.

I really like this brand of salsa. It has a very fresh taste with chunks of tomatoes and other recognizable ingredients. I usually buy the medium which has a pleasant kick of heat that seems about right, but isn't overly hot. It does not taste "cooked" or have a mushy texture like so many jarred salsas do. Of course it's a nice compliment to tortilla chips, but I have also used it as a condiment to season other foods (eggs, rice...). This brand had seemed to disappear from the shelves of local grocery stores for a long time (not sure why), so I was thrilled to find it stocked at a local Walmart.

This has been our favorite salsa for years. It's spicy enough to have real taste but not too spicy to stop you enjoying the whole jar (which may not be a good thing, if you are on a diet). We love it.

This product is medium spice that we purchased, flavor was incredible!! Was not to hot or to mild, price was perfect for the product

First time buying this salsa will buy again it had just enough kick to it to satisfy me very good flavor

Love the salsa, I would like to have it a little chunkier, other than that it the chase is very very good. I was pleasantly surprised.

I love the taste of this salsa. Its certified gluten free as well. I also love that the jar can be reused as a mason jar for canning, as a glass, or meal prep! Great recycling of products!

probably the best jarred salsa ever. i just wish my walmart carried the mild version.

My favorite salsa has been out of stock lately so I finally decided I had to start trying other brands. I tried this along with the mild variety and I didn't notice any difference with how spicy it was between the two varieties. I did however notice a slight off putting flavor in the medium variety but when I continued to eat it I didn't really notice it anymore. I wouldn't say that this brand is as good as my favorite but it is definitely better than some Mexican restaurant's salsa. Pretty good for gringo.
