I was so pleased with this product when I got it that I bought my daughter a set for Christmas. except mine were red and hers were blue lol And mine are in yoder Kansas and hers are in Branson Missouri. I get emails from the company everyday and I get specials from them everyday and one of these days I'm going to get that ice cream maker from them. I got this pot pan set because it matched the motif that I want to go with in my new kitchen which is red. The Greenpan has the most choices that I've seen from any one company and even leaves T-Fal in the dust. i went with the ceramic as i was trying to get away from the heavy fats, oils, and all that butter to cook.
Very pretty. Have been using since Christmas, 3 months, and still look like new except the bottom which has some darkening from heat. I love the soft grip handles and no rivets. cook evenly. So far, so good! And I think I got a great deal on Black Friday!
I had this product yrs ago and passed it on to a friend who has uses and loves (she also purchased a 2nd set, after she wore out the 1st set). Reason being, I moved and got my cookware out of storage, a heavy, well-known cookware set. I used that for years, but after an injury to my predominant hand the cookware just became too heavy and I needed a change. I asked my friend what the brand was because with different "green" sets, and I wanted to make sure I ordered the correct set. "Green Life" is what I needed. I ordered the the set in turquoise (very pretty). This set is exactly what I needed. It's lightweight, beautiful, and a pleasure to cook with, it has truly helped me get back into cooking, which I love. My old set has been passed on to a person in need. The one thing I do miss in the set is the pour indent, which I always found very useful.
I bought this about a month and some days ago because I LOVE yellow and I wanted that to reflect in my new apartment! It heats up REALLY fast so be mindful of burning your meals, they do scratch up ALOT if your not careful so they require a bit more gentle care then normal pots, the paint can also scratch VERY LITTLE so be careful not to use like a steel wool pad on it, it's non stick so it cleans well i personally just use some Awesome Spray and dish soap and it cleans up nicely, the spatulas do melt if using it in the hot pan for long ( not like cheap plastic melt, they kinda mold and deform a bit ) like scraping ground beef seasoning. For a new apartment this is really good for a set!
Online advertisement says this cookware is made of ceramic and durable materials. However, when reading the instructions it says you cannot use metal utensils or hard plastic utensils. It recommends silicon utensils. The outside coating scratches very easy and they recommend hand washing the pots and pans instead of using a dishwasher.
This is a quality set of cookware. I like that it is nonstick ceramic and the finish and knobs are solid. However, the large pot and all of the frying pans were much smaller than I thought they would be from buying other cookware sets in the past. I'm sure that the measurements are correct but I wasn't even aware that this smaller set was even a thing. I'm keeping the set as I anticipate that it will fit my future needs as kids are slowly moving out and it was such a good black Friday deal. If I had paid more, I would be returning it.
for the most part there were all good and in good condition minus the largest pot which as you can see in the image, isnt even circular. it looks to be heavily warped, and i am unable to warp it back -- which does speak for how well its crafted however.
What you advertised was 16 pieces, what I got was 13 pcs and only 12 were usable. The stock pot and lid, steamer, and lid for the saute pan were all missing. The 13th item you sent was a lid that didn't fit any pan in the box. Also, the pieces arrived loosely packaged in the box. I will never purchase from you again.
I never write reviews. Just don't have time. But I will for this because just this week a Little ‘scratch like' just appeared in the bigger pot. I have been so carefully with this pots. I replaced my pots bc I want to reduce PTFE, and make it safer to my little ones. I also only use the mixers that came with the pots. So I really don't understand, but I am very disappointed.
I used one of its pans, and now it's very hard to clean—food is stuck to it. Even after using dish soap, a soft sponge, and hot water, the residue is still stuck on the pan. I followed all the instructions: I added enough oil and kept the temperature below medium, but the food still stuck.
