Solid cast iron. Easy to clean. Made chicken thighs got a good sear and put in oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect sizes for cooking for one. They were nicely seasoned straight out of the box and gave me no issues with sticking without having to worry about the chemicals of a nonstick pan. Heated nice and evenly like a good cast iron pan should. The cast iron pan I had before was too big and heavy to be worth the hassle to use. These are sturdy, but still light enough for me to take out and use daily. Will be my new go-to pans!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this cast iron skillet. Made skillet Mac and cheese an it turned out amazing. Heats up nicely, was able to make the cheese sauce without worry. It's definitely a bit heavy but that's expected from a pan like this. Can be used for cooking multiple items. Definitely recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooked my sausages evenly that I made this morning for my fiance and kids. I love cooking in cast iron. This is a very well made, durable fry pan. The price is good too I definitely want to buy more in different sizes. I'm using the smaller one here. I love to cook & this one is very well made
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using these pans. They were easy to coat and I liked the shine they had after being coated/prepped. They are not too heavy which is something I was worried about. The sizes are just right, not too big. My sister has a cast iron and she liked mine better because the size was more manageable. I have not noticed any durability issues so I think they will last long. It's nice to have two of them. I plan to use the smaller one for desserts and the bigger one for savory items. Cooked chicken in the big one and it turned out delicious.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heavy duty, excellent quality cast-iron. Two different size pans. I like the two handles on the large pan. I seasoned them and use them to cook eggs, burgers, and sausage. Everything turned out delicious. Need a little hand mitt for the handles so you don't burn yourself. Otherwise, these are excellent quality. I would highly recommend and I would absolutely purchase these again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using the Bobby Flay by GreenPan 8″ and 10″ cast iron pans and I'm genuinely impressed with their performance. Right out of the box, they were pre-seasoned, which made them easy to use without any extra prep, and over time they've developed a nice patina that adds to their nonstick feel. They heat up quickly and retain heat beautifully, which makes searing meat or frying eggs effortless, and the little pour spouts are surprisingly handy for draining liquids. The 10″ pan's helper handle also makes lifting heavier dishes much easier. I did notice they're quite heavy, and the long handles take some getting used to, especially when the pan is hot. The heat isn't perfectly even across the entire surface, and like all cast iron, they require hand washing and immediate drying to maintain the seasoning. Despite these minor drawbacks, they feel versatile and sturdy, working well on the stove, in the oven, or even on the grill. Overall, I really enjoy cooking with them and would recommend them to anyone looking for durable, high-quality cast iron without the hassle of starting from scratch.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience with a true cast iron frypan set. These are some heavy duty pans, I must say! The seasoning was pretty simple when you follow the instructions. It gave a strong chemical scent initially, but that has dissipated. They burn evenly and will definitely last you a very long time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fry pan set is sturdy, heats evenly, and works great for everyday cooking. The size options are convenient and the pans feel durable and well-made. A solid, reliable choice for anyone looking to upgrade their cookware.
First try, bacon stuck to pan. Second try, olive oil and onions stuck to pan. Had to re-season it in the oven. Handle needs a holder or hot pad in order to hold it.
