Very easy to use. Just charge the battery and mash the button trigger and you're working. Could not be easier. This is the way to go.

It is very easy to start and to use. It isn't too heavy for me to handle. I am almost 72 years old. I haven't had to put new line on it yet but am hoping it will be easy do too.

When my black and decker gave up, I spent a few weeks pouring over replacements. Finally decided on this one as it seemed like the best value for the power it claims. I have a greenworks prsssure washer which works very well so I trusted the brand to deliver and it sure did! This thing seems huge but still fits comfortably in hand and is pretty lightweight. I finished my yard much faster than usual. Normally I have to switch out two batteries on my black and decker before I finish my yard. This guy lasted the whole time and still had energy left for more. Extremely satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend.

chose the 40v for my first weedeater and have no regrets. im older and have a small yard and the greenworks got the job done. battery lasted 40 ish minutes and the string life depends on what you chose to cut down. super easy, lightweight and i enjoy using it!

It's lightweight and powerful very durable The battery lasts a long time It cuts just as good as a gas weed eater saving you time money very powerful very pleased would recommend this over a gas powered weed eater especially older people that can't pull the gas powered ones this does just as much if not more than a gas powered weed eater

This is the ideal trimmer for someone who is not mechanically inclined. All you have to do is push the button and it turns on, works. Battery charges quickly and lasts a good while. This is the first weed eater I have bought, that I can actually use myself. All the others one I had, someone had to use them for me. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is because it is a little bit on the heavy side for me. I would highly recommend this weed trimmer.

I have this same weedeater that I purchased in 2019. This one is nowhere near as good of quality as the one I have. Seems that Covid changed a lot of things. And even though I love the one I have, part of the feeder head is wearing out and I can't find replacement parts for it anymore. Nevertheless, I did return this one and will look for one that is better quality.

It works great overall, but the line doesn't always come out when tapped. Now I must remove the spool, manually adjust the string, then go again. I'm still on my first spool, so not sure yet how easy/difficult it will be to replace in the future. Perhaps once the string replacement is done, then the string will feed better. If so, I will bump this up to a 4-star review. In the meantime, hard to recommend 100% b/c of the string feed failure, which is essential for a trimmer.

Marginal at best. The connecting junction is right where the balance point of the trimmer is. I have long arms so I was able to locate the handle below this connector. The lockout button spring is waaay too stiff. A woman, teenager or someone without strong hands will never be able to depress it to operate the trigger. It is only located on one side making the tool useless for all left handed people. The battery lasted a very short time before empty. The string supplied broke easily and frayed at the ends. I bought a premium and light weight line. Hope this improves the trimming ability. I am using it without the heavy guard attached, so no string length trimmer.

Well, on line I loved the trimmer/edger weedeater. When it came to my house and I unpacked it, this is too heavy for me to do my upper yard I am female and it is too heavy for me Sorry I did really wanted that Green Works weedeater. Maybe they will make one that is not so heavy like my other weedeater.
