Greenworks

Debra July 6, 2025

Used it couple times and battery holds up long enough to mow small space where camper is on lot . Wish I’d purchased extra battery but might later so I can swap out each time. Thanks Greenworks , I looked specifically for this brand bc I had bought electric pressure washer and it’s held up for years

Very Easy, No Muss - No Fuss

Lesley September 10, 2025

I don’t like to mow the yard. I don’t like to mess with gasoline, nor fuss with oil. So I looked into a battery operated mower. Assembly was easy- just attach the handle. Once the battery was charged (90 minutes to 2 hours) I cut loose on the yard. The grass was long. The grass was wet. The grass was heavy. But it cut well. I did have to clean out the area where it throws out mulch because of the wetness of the grass, which can be a pain because the grass is always wet. My only complaint is the way the mulch hood attaches to the mower- it hooks over a rod, but doesn’t have a hard snap so it does tend to come off if it catches on anything. I would recommend a second battery if your yard is good sized to large. I’m very happy with this mower. I have used it a half dozen times, and it still cuts nicely.

I have used this mower for three weeks and I have to say, its awesome. Never have used a battery operated mower but was so tired of the endless maintenance on my several gas push mowers. I had 2 other batteries I use for other Greenworks equipment. I have a very large area to mow. Still it works perfectly!

James July 27, 2025

Cuts extremely well. Stays strong all the way to the end of the battery life. Would be nice to come with a second battery. Lawn must be dry to maximize coverage. High or wet grass really burns up the battery time. First cut, which was wet and overgrown took three charges. Every cut since then has only required a single charge.

The mower does real well, I’m just not sure why the idle is sporadic. Sometimes I’m mowing in the idle just changes to a higher speed, but the grass i’m cutting is still consistent. I don’t think it’s the battery.

Looks nice and quiet

Leah July 15, 2025

Looks nice. But battery last only 30-40min. Buying extra battery is almost the price of the mower (1/2 of the price) Sensitive start. Quiet tho. Best for people that has time to fix and trouble shoot. Sensitive and unorganized start due to the panel or start button. Not for me.

Don’t buy!

anonymous September 22, 2025

Ran for 10 minutes the battery would not recharge. I Tried to return it and Walmart told me they would not accept because it was assembled. So I disassembled it in the parking lot and taped the box took it back inside and got a refund. I Will not buy anything that expensive from Walmart ever again.

Well, it's kind of difficult to give a good review since I NEVER RECIEVED THIS ITEM! Walmart; please get a shipping company that is at least slightly better than incompetent. This is addressed at On Trac shipping, which is a detriment even to Walmart. Recording 23" X 40" X 18" package as delivered and I was home outside when it was supposed to have been delivered. No, out for delivery scan just a fantasy delivered scan. Somebody has the mower I ordered but not me. Rooting for you walmart, need an amazon alternative.

Bad mower ?

shimin May 9, 2026

I just used this mower yesterday first time since I bought it Jan, 2026. After running only 10 min, the mower stopped working and could not be restarted (turn-on). I checked the battery, it had 2 green bars. I charged it to 4 bars and tried to start the mower again. It did not respond any more.

Beware. Time waster

Stephanie May 16, 2026

Only purchase if you have a very small yard. I have an average size front yard and backyard and I cannot complete both of them on one battery. The battery does not last longer than 30 minutes. And don't accidentally skip and allow your grass to get too high. Your battery will last between 10 to 15 minutes even whenever you have the lawn mower on the highest setting. I spent multiple days recharging my battery multiple times just to get through my backyard that got too overgrown for this lawn mower. It just cannot handle it. Would have been better for me to just pay somebody to do it. Ridiculous that it cost this much and is such a piece of crap.
