Greenworks 80V 16" Cordless Brushless Chainsaw (Tool Only) 2004202

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Expanding on my Greenworks investment, now I can leverage my 80v battery, originally purchased with my 80V 20" Cordless Battery Single-Stage Snow Blower, to help clear brush, trim trees, and blow leaves (also picked up the 80V 730 CFM Cordless Battery Leaf Blower)!! Appreciate the convenience, power, and versatility of my Greenworks tools!

Excellent Value. Surpriseingly powerfully. Ease to use and maintain. I was concerned about power, but I cut through 6 " wood of various types, Gum, Holly, Oak , Cedar, with relative ease. Battery live was 50 minutes of continuous use. Recharge in less that 30 Minutes as advertised. Great for rural property yard maintanence for which I purchased.

I live in Florida and I like the battery chainsaw because it lets you work about 2 hours before you need a battery switch which saves me from heat exhaustion. I had the 40 volt but this one is worth the extra money as its double the power and has improved adding oil or removing the chain. Watch the price as it goes up and down with tariff talk. Canada sells it $100 cheaper or more so if you live close that might be your best option. The greenworks brand is an update every 5 to 8 years so do not over pay as the battery tech keeps improving and new lines are made

This unit is great. Works well with large and small trees. I have yet to have the battery run out. i have been able to cut down 10 inch caliper trees with no issue. Very impressed.

So easy to use compared to gas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used this tool yet. Waited too long and now winter and snow is everywhere. I will use it this winter if any small to medium trees fall over my driveway; otherwise I will wait until the spring. It is smaller than I thought, though. But the "tool only" renewed price was too good to pass up.

it does just what it said it would. great to get rid of the gas eating tools. This little guy tackles all our jobs and gets it done. plenty of power.

This is definitely a middle of the barrel item. While it's a chain saw. The top failures are the lack of a shut off system, the uneasy cleaning process after it cutting for 15 minutes, resulting in 25 minutes of clean time. The oil lubricated location was thoughtless as it's extremely difficult to get into it.
