I have Crohn's Disease and my daughter is showing signs of it. With that in mind, we are trying to cook easy to digest food. Rosemary is my favorite herb, but the leaves are too woody. We tried the extract, and it wasn't very pleasant. This ground rosemary is very aromatic and has a fine grinding and will suit our needs very well.
great taste
This spice really dressed up my plain baked chicken and adds a distinctive flavor to other foods also.
I am not a big fan of rosemary but some of my recipes called for ground rosemary and this is definitely one of the best ones
I regularly use rosemary in my cooking. My daughter dislikes the chopped leaves on roasted vegetables or potatoes. This powder worked perfectly, allowing for flavor without visible rosemary. I noticed it lacked as much aroma as fresh, which I anticipated, but it got the job done. I'll be adding it into some chicken and pork rubs as well.
This makes for an excellent substitute for fresh rosemary. Because it's finely ground, you can add as much as you need to your dishes without worrying about pulling out rosemary leaves afterward. It smells and tastes delightful, giving the rosemary essence desired in culinary dishes. It's not common to find powdered rosemary, and considering its two-year shelf life, it's a great pantry addition!
This is a finely-ground rosemary powder that carries less fragrance than fresh. However, it's versatile for baking and spice mixes. It's a good product overall; I can't complain. It exceeds many dried rosemary bulk packages I've bought before, likely due to the fine grind. The concentrated rosemary flavor in powdered form makes it excellent for those who want finely ground rosemary.
I've been on the hunt for powdered rosemary for quite some time. Many years ago, I could find it with ease, but the store I frequented has since closed. I would have preferred a smaller quantity since I don't use it that often, meaning it might end up going stale, and I'd lose some.
Having never used ground rosemary before, I appreciate it for maintaining the consistency and texture in spice blends. The flavor is okay but seems milder than expected, so you may need to use additional ground rosemary. My only issue is that upon receiving the bottle, it appeared only half full. I'm not sure why; it didn't feel heavy, although the safety seal was intact, confirming none escaped. If there's only enough to fill halfway, why not sell it in a smaller bottle to avoid the perception of getting shorted?
For a lower tier brand, this might work for some. For my preferences, however, I'll stick to better-known rosemary brands. I picked up on faint herbal notes, but part of the joy of using spices is in their aroma. This doesn't quite meet expectations. If it's your first attempt at purchasing rosemary, please don't form opinions solely on this product; much superior options are available at most local grocery stores.
