First, you need to wet your lips before making contact with the straw so your lips don't stick to it. These are nothing like the paper straws that I used as a child which got soggy after a while. These are more like wood straws. They don't get soggy. I even had one go through the dishwasher and come out without losing its shape. You'll be amazed.

These biodegradable straws work just fine and last longer than I expected them to. The tactile feeling is different from plastic and takes some getting used-to. People like me who are appalled by the awful effects of today's plastic excesses will find the switch enough pleasure in the thought to compensate.

This is a good quality product, however, I determined that plastic straws are better than paper! I like the paper straws, but they just don't work like plastic!

These were a LOT smaller than I thought they would be. Will make do to use them up.
