Got this for my daughter for Christmas. She was very excited to get a replacement to the one that broke easily. She said that this one works great and has helped her with her pot lucks and school bake sales.
I had a Hamilton Beach 8 cup food processor for years. I used it so much all year, but especially in the summer. I used it to make my salsa. Chop my tomatoes, onions, and peppers for my spaghetti sauce. Shred my Zucchini, and the list goes on. I was so sad when I used it recently, and the bowl had a crack in it! I got on Walmart App, and there was a 10 cup Hamilton Beach Food Processor on sale for Black Friday! Ordered right away! It was here the next day! Very Happy!
I really like this processor because it's very easy to operate compaired to one I had. No more twisting lids on and twisting cup into base. Just stack it, load it, put lid on and snap clamps on sides and go.
This is a very powerful processor and does everything I want it to do! The 10 cup capacity is great. If I had to pick one thing to complain about it would be that it is on the loud side which makes sense because it is really powerful. Super excited about it!
This 10 cup food processor seems to be the perfect balance in size between the very little ones (4 cups) and the 12 cups. The price was very good with the great convenience of home delivery.
It's not top of the line but works well enough for my needs. I appreciate the wide mouth and the tube connection for using a small mouth. It's easy to assemble the chopping blade and grating disc to store together within the food processor. It's easy to use and budget friendly.
This is a really nice food processor. Plenty of power. Good capacity and safety features. The only problem encountered required me to purchase a replacement bowl. It was mostly my fault, but the bowl ended up cracking on either side where the tabs lock it in place. This was due to me failing to ensure the bowl was properly seated. Be very careful when seating the bowl because the tabs will lock it into place even if it slightly off...and crack your bowl. I'd say 80% my fault, 20% bowl and tab design. So 4 out of 5 stars. On the plus side, Hamilton Beach sells nearly every part to the food processor on their website.
Very easy to use but had a hard time slicing carrots (the smaller pieces got caught above the blade. Tried to make Pesto but could not pulse the Basel leaves small enough. Made salsa and it seemed to do well. It is good for the price but if you are a heavy user, spend the extra money.
This was made completely with plastic. Haven't used it yet, but looks very cheaply made. I normally use food processors almost every day. I hope this holds up to the constant use, but have my doubts.
As a food processor, it works fine. I like the snap feature, it's much better than the traditional. However, with this being the 2nd one that the same issue happened to, I can't possibly recommend this. Very, very cheaply made. There's a mechanism that needs to push down in order to operate. This is the 2nd one I've owned that it broke. I've had this latest one only a few months. Very, very disappointed.
