This item is pretty easy to set up.It came with the sync adapter to quickly hook it up to the sink. All I had to do was switch the aerator out. once the sink set up is done, it's quick and easy to single-handedly hook the hoses up to the sink and start a load within seconds. handles a decent amount of dishes for the size and the size of it works well within my apartment.
It's a large counter top portable. It was lighter than it looks. The easiest to hook up. Just two hoses on the back you can't mistake one for the other the fausit was good the washers a little big other than that it was easy to hook up. To start it up was super easy too. Just a push of a button then choosing where I wanted it to start. It was super quiet, until the water drained to the sink then the water was loud not the machine.. it's a great little addition to my kitchen I wish I could bless another with one. It was a great experience with the mail the timing was great the product was awesome thank you very much.
Easy to attach the hoses to the back, the faucet adapter fit my sink faucet thankfully - not all portable dishwashers come with the sink adapter so that was a nice surprise! In my opinion this model is super quiet to another brand of counter top dishwasher I had. Have used it about 15 times so far and it cleans well. Only issue I have is the soap dispenser - it's one section whereas my other counter top one had 2 sections (one side has little openings for a prewash while rinsing the dishes and then a wash cup). There is a jet dry section as well but I always skip that!
This product has been a lifesaver! It's quiet, convenient, and once you learn how to load it, you can fit a surprising amount of dishes in it. BUT, that top rack will not hold a mug or small glass, not even close...it's not tall enough. I use it for little sauce dishes and bigger utensils can be laid there, but you will NOT fit any cup there. Full size plates will fit, but they have to lean significantly at about a 30° angle and will only go in a few select spots. Other than the learning curves, I have really enjoyed this dishwasher! I also want to clarify, it was mentioned in other reviews that the hose leaks at connect point. I have no issue with this and suggest that if there is a leak, either tighten the connection, OR your washer is missing.
the Hamilton Beach countertop dishwasher has completely transformed my daily routines it's giving me more free time to work on other tasks it's quiet it's efficient it gets the job done it does all size loads I absolutely love mine
The product came damaged - it had a Sam's Club cardboard box on the bottom but the top of the box was part of the actual packaging. It clearly stated on the box to NOT strap it down but you can tell from the dents on the side of the dishwasher that someone didn't pay attention to that warning. That being said it works as advertised ... meaning that yes you have to pre-rinse your dishes a little more than you would a normal full size dishwasher. It does not heat dry but uses residual heat from the hot tap water used to wash the dishes to "dry" the dry them. You still have to wipe them down when they are done if you have hard water (I do). On normal wash it takes about 2hrs and 40min to complete and that whole time your sinks faucet cannot be used. It is as big as it looks in the advertisement - this is not small appliance. I'm not sure if the directions said to or not but run a complete cycle with dishwashing liquid in it before you wash your first set of dishes - I didn't and I had to rinse them off by had due to some strange white residue. Would I buy this again? Not sure - my expectations were low so I was pleasantly shocked how clean they came out on the second wash but was that the unit or was it me spraying them clean with hot hot water? And i really hate to wash the little stuff like cups and forks, spoons, etc. So yes there is convivence but there's also a lot of inconvenience like the space it takes up on the counter/kitchen and the pre-rinse/pre-scrub while still having a decent amount of dishes like pots, pans, and some taller plates and cups that wont fit in it, and the fact that you can't use your faucet for over 2hrs while its running. I've only had it about 2 weeks and so far I've used it daily and I think for myself - the answer is yes I would buy it again because its just me and my daughter and I didn't need much. This unit was only $187 at the time I bought it which made it the cheapest option out there (by $113 to be exact) and it was a name brand (lower end but still a name I knew). Hope this review helps.
The unit was packed well, and though it arrived with a small dent on the back left side the performance has not suffered. It is much quieter than other dishwashers. Setup was easy as it arrived with all needed items. There wasn't enough room on the counters (low mounted cupboards in a very old house) but I bought a microwave cart and am able to move the dishwasher out of the way when not in use. Excellent choice for a small space.
The tray wheels keep coming off the track and tray falls into the dishwasher or gets stuck when you're trying to roll it out. Also the soap door doesn't open during the cycle because it gets stuck on the silverware basket. I also have a Hamilton Beach coffee maker. The coffee pot always get stuck when you're trying to put it in under the drip basket. I think this company has design problems. I will probably stay clear of their products in the future.
water wooden drain at the end of the cycle I open the door to empty my dishwasher and it's full of water the second time I used it it leaked it drained but it leaked all over my kitchen counter floors everything I'm in the process of returning it to the store because I don't have any way to do a return ticket or anything like that cuz it was delivered FedEx so now I'm not happy at all not only having to return it because it's not working it's not doing what it's supposed to do it's not quiet like they said it would be so I'm in the process of boxing it up bringing it to the store for a refund and I'm going to have to go find me another dishwasher somewhere else because this isn't happening my cabinets are ruined my floor is ruined I just laid my floor and it's a hardwood floor so now I got to worry about water underneath the plane not happy at all the last time I had I had five years and then it just went out 5 years a dishwasher should last more than 5 years whether it's countertop or full size under the counter doesn't matter if they're not made any better than that 5 years then I don't need it I'll get me something else that will last because the last dishwasher I bought in my home in Texas 11 years and that's when I sold the house and it's still in the house dishwasher here no not happy at all
It was late. It had been dropped. The box it came in was busted and the door doesn't completely seal along with there being a dent on the top. It leaked all over my counter as the back hose connection is messed up, probably from being dropped. It doesnt fit as much as it says it will. It doesnt clean well at all. It is LOUD! Dishes come out with spots despite my using the recommended jet dry and they come out with small pieces of stuff (even though i pre rinse) on them that wasn't on them when i loaded them in there. Now i have a leaking hunk of metal taking up what little space i have in my small kitchen. It's also pretty pricy for what you actually get. I was so excited for this and now im not.
