I love all the things you can cook in this! I work six days a week so I just throw the food in and turn on the mode I want and come home to cooked dinner!!

A big upgrade from my old crock pot. Can cook grain, sear meat and slow cook. Use it weekly to make dog food, as well as casseroles, soups, roasts, etc. still use the crock pot, but find myself reaching for this more and more.

it does not sear well. but it is amazing for nearly all dishes, i do casseroles, soups, and chili's mainly. works really well, can even do homemade corn bread.

My wife loves this slow cooker because you can salute and brown meats in it. You don't have to dirty another pan and if you need to thicken a gravy at the end you can bring to a boil and quickly cook it.....no waiting an hour like with normal slow cookers. It is also much lighter than normal ceramic based pots since it it a metal non stick insert. Best ever so much convenience and control for her since she is handicapped and cannot lift regular ceramic heavy slow cookers. Would buy again. If you are on the fence about buying.... Don't hesitate.

As a senior, I found the users flyer lacking in what all the “buttons” on the front would do and in what sequence they should be pushed for the desired cooking function. Finally figured it out by “hit and miss” but a better owners manual is needed.

I love this pot for making chili as everything is done in just this fancy slow cooker. in the end there is only one pot to clean. I also use it overnight to make broth out of bones. then it is just on slow cooking.

My only problem is it's actually too large and it only roast on one temperature which is 375°. That's probably fine for some people, but I'd love to slow roast some things.

Received item with dents. Didn't like that. Kept it because Walmart would not honor their commitment to allow me to purchase the item again with the sales price if I returned it. I kind of think that is very unfair. Not too sure even now that I'm very happy about the whole transaction. Never have felt this unhappy about Walmart before.

when we opened the box, i loved the cooker, and was excited to use it. when i was putting food in it to cook i noticed it was unstable on counter. Looking closer, i realized the cooker was dented and bottom was broke. it heated up and cooked well but is seriously damaged.
