Hamilton Beach 4 Qt Programmable Slow Cooker, Stoneware Crock with Removable Pot, Stainless Steel

Made stew for the first time in ages and it was excellent. Much easier in crockpot than stovetop. Very easy to clean and the weight of this smaller crock is easy to manage for cleaning. Still a bit heavy when fully loaded if one takes it out of the base to get food into storage containers but it was manageable. Crock was easy enough to clean even without a liner or light oil on the upper sides. Programming is easy and seems very accurate. I LUV that it drops from cooking to warm at the proper time all by itself. Lid works well but one does need to remember to lift the front up first. I don't have a lot of countertop space so didn't get the model with the lid rack. I think that's probably a great idea if you have room. Have never been disappointed with a Hamilton Beach product and wasn't this time either.

This crock pot is the perfect size for two people. Any left over you can freeze.

Cooking for two means using a smaller slow cooker. This 4 qt slow cooker is just right. I can set it and forget it knowing my meal will be ready (without burning or drying out. The pot is of good quality material with just the right bells and whistles to get the job done.

Very easy to use. Nice size for 2 or more people. Timer is nice when time is up it goes to warm automatically. Would recommend.

I the digital controls program weren't as expected. The size is perfect.

This is a good size for a slow cooker for a small family. IT's easy to use, and I think the automatic shutoff is a terrific idea.

Enamel inside the pot has deformation on the side.
