The longer slot accepted standard bread. If the slots are 5 1/4 or longer like this toaster, okay. I had to return a toaster that was too short for a slice of bread!

Made cheaper than old days, but better than the other off-brands... Toast is crisp .... Browning settings 7, adjustable... Like the crumb tray, non stick, easy to pull out, dump, slide back in ... Takes seconds.

This toaster has the ability to stop cooking by pushing the cancel button. You won't get toast that may be too dark. Has a wide slot for may toasting choices, sometimes, I put in 2 slices on either sides, I get a sandwich bread. We like this toaster! Thanks, B. Graham

This is a great toaster it looks good sitting on my counter it has a defrost cycle which is nice because I freeze my bread to make it last longer. It's got the bagel function and the high lift function for smaller pieces of bread I would highly recommend this little toaster

I bought the stainless steel toaster. Over-all this toaster looks great and works well. The only issue I’ve found is that I have to put the color dial all the way to the highest position in order to lightly toast the bread. Other than that, I’ve no further complaints.

It does heat and toast quickly but both sides of bread do not toast even. One side gets dark while the other side barely toast. It was an inexpensive toaster . The controls are well placed and easy to use.

I bought this because it was the same model I previously had that worked great for ten years. This one has worked for only two months. The optional bagel toaster has stopped working. When using it for bread it takes forever and has places that don't toast. Very disappointed.

Don’t waste your money on this toaster. It is so light weight that when you push the lever down, it tries to flip forward if you don’t hold it. It also doesn’t toast evenly. There will be dark brown places instead of even toasting

I had to turn the nob to setting %236 and then push it down again in order to get any toasting effect.

I plugged it into the wall outlet as soon as it came out of the box, put 2 slices of bread into the bread lifter, and attempted to lower the bread lifter but it didn't lock into place and heat up.
