Replaced a very old one. Ample power for what I need, and I really like the pop-on storage. Overall is bigger than the vintage one, even without the storage, but because it can sit neatly on a shelf with its attachments, it is still less awkward when not in use.

easy to clean, excellent power. I have a stand mixer that I use for bigger projects but this hand mixer is perfect for quick jobs. It worked great to shred poached chicken breast. I like that it comes with an attachable storage compartment. It's a little tough to squeeze both beaters, the whisk attachment and the full power cord in there, but it works. You have to rearrange it a bit to get it to fit just right. Otherwise, no issues. Highly recommend.

The Hamilton Beach 6-Speed Electric Hand Mixer is easy to use. The blades are easy to install %26 eject. The motor is powerful. I easily whipped up 5 lbs of potatoes with little effort. It is easy to clean %26 stores away nicely in the storage case.

I was particularly concerned about whether or not the beaters would be of good enough quality. Fortunately, they are strong and sturdy enough for beating a large pot of mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving Day. Some mixers' beaters are really small and flimsy; on one occasion, the bottom of the beaters actually broke. While these beaters are not quite as thick and heavy as those used on non-hand mixer models, these beaters are indeed strong and sturdy enough for tackling big jobs. For people who have had multiple hand mixers with different size beaters, the snap-on case is particularly helpful for keeping the correct set of beaters with its mixer. This model also includes a small French whisk that connects to the mixer. Nice! While I've only had this Hamilton Beach hand mixer for a week, it seems to be a durable product. The mixer itself is a little larger than other models, so it takes more room in a drawer, especially with the snap-on case. I'm therefore storing it on a pantry shelf, in its upright position, instead of in a kitchen drawer. Overall, when considering the price and the product, it's definitely a good buy.

I purchased this mixer as I needed one for Holiday baking and had broken the bowl to my other mixer (Kitchen Aid). I searched all online choices and even with holiday sales I could not find a decent mixer for a reasonable price. I went with this mixer and used it 2 days after purchasing it and regretted it immediately. The mixer was more then I wanted to spend but needed something I could use. Being used to a mixer with a bowl attached I should have known it would be different but not as bad as this mixer. I went to use it and the beaters were very difficult to put into the mixer. It took awhile to figure out how to put the mixers on and finally got them on by twisting them back and forth. While using the mixer the beaters kept falling out and while having the batter all over the mixer I could not get the beaters fully out of the mixer. They were full of batter and hard to remove as were covered with batter. Very upsetting had to throw away entire batter because of use of hands to remove the beaters from mixer and batter. Do not recommend unless you have no issue twisting and turning the beaters onto the mixer. Not a strong mixer either and cheaply made for the price I paid truly not worth it. It does come with a bottom case to store the beaters and place the mixer on top but that is about the only thing I like about it. Will be searching for a better mixer after the holidays.

I do appreciate the storage of the beaters as part of the mixer unit, but as others have stated, the lowest speed is way too violent, too strong for a handmixer.

One of the mixers doesn't stay in place and I have to keep pushing it in over and over again until it snaps into place. It's very frustrating when you have a large bowl of batter to mix.

Way to heavy for me!!!!! Also, I noticed it had a hard time mixing a thick, dense batter. My arms were so tired, I could hardly lift my arm! (I'm not real strong in the upper body, I guess). I thought I might have to drink my glass of wine through a straw!

I purchase this item September 3, 2020. I used it for the time on December 19, 2020 to bake a cake and it ahut off in middle of mixing my batter and did not come back on. I checked it again the next day and still did not come back on. I don't recommend purchasing this product.

Seems like this shouldn't be an issue but it's too fast. There is no low speed. Perfect if all you do is whip cream but mixing something just to combine is impossible. Turning this on LOW and it's already faster than other mixers at MED HIGH. Will be donating and shopping for a replacement.
