Hamilton Beach Durathon® Ceramic Skillet, 12"x15" Removable Reversible Pan

We have had several electric skillets in the past but this one is my favorite! I love that the skillet can be removed from the base and be set right on the table. It has it's own legs outside of the base so no hot pad is needed. It cooks fast and evenly and is absolutely non-stick, even with melted cheese. The pan and lid are dishwasher safe. I had an electric fry pan for many many years. It finely took its last breath. This Hamilton Beach Durathon Ceramic electric fry pan was on sale. I decided to give it a try. I have a disability of the right upper side. I needed something that was not heavy. I love this one. It IS light, plus you can wash the skillet pan separately from the base that it sits on. Makes washing easier, when you have only one side to do most of the work. I really like it. I cook spaghetti noodles, pancakes, French toast, chicken and dumplings and more. It is great in a small kitchen too.

I didn't pay attention to the size its larger then the one I replaced had to make room. Its well made used it over a week now. easier to clean. My old 1 let steam out at the pour/spout area on the corner .this one has a area in the off center of the lid for that I like it better.

I love this skillet. It is so versatile and the nonstick surface makes it so easy to clean. I actually travel with this in my suitcase! Makes one pot meals a breeze while traveling and staying in hotels to save money on vacation.

I purchase this brand on reputation and love to prepare meals in a electric Skillet. Easy meals load set temp and cook .

I love my skillet so much, I don't even use my Stove Anymore

It is a good size, works great and looks good.

I liked that it was on my mother-in-law's Christmas list and that it was a brand that at least USED to be an American brand that stood for quality (who knows who owns it, or where it's made now). I haven't heard if she likes it or not. Soooo.... yeah. Have a nice day.
