Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender, 56 oz. Jar, 10 Speeds, New, Black, 50190F

We have a Vita Mix (which we thought we needed to make smoothies, very big and heavy) I hate using it so I bought this Hamilton for myself to make margarita's, milk shakes and other things and I LOVE IT!!! I use it for everything now because it's easy to use, clean, and it is so light. For the money, it's the best thing I ever bought.

I like this blender. Washed it out and used it the day I got it. I make smoothies with frozen fruits and fresh veggies every day. It blends the ingredients well. I've never had any issues of it not blending with the first try. I do use juice with the smoothies. The pour spout works too. I've had other blenders that the pour spout was just awful and the smoothie would be all over the counter. This one is neat and pours well. Easy to clean. I usually rinse it out put it in the dish drainer. I take it apart once a week for a good cleaning. Ice crushed nicely. I've had no problems with it at all and would definitely buy it again.

This is a great blender for making smoothies. For the price it cannot be beat (i.e. you can buy 12 of these blenders instead of buying 1 Vitamix blender). Just be sure to start with enough liquid, then add the ingredients in increments. With this blender I have blended a 4 cup smoothie almost every day for three years.

This blender surpassed my expectations. I was hesitant on purchasing this product becuse of the price, but it works wonderfully for all my smoothies. Easy to use and easy to clean

It can make smoothies but they won’t turn out very smooth... It’s very loud. It isn’t great at really chopping up fruit and grains as there are small chunks even when blending for at least a minute. I don’t see myself using this for long as I’ll probably be buying a better one soon. If I didn’t break down the box I’d return it. This would probably be great for someone on a budget or for college because of the affordability. But the quality isn’t among the best.

This is no Ninja. I had to have patience. At first I thought it wasn't chopping/blending anything up. After a while it did blend. I wouldnt buy again or recommend, but it was good for what I needed for that day.

If you only want to blend liquids--then this is the blender for you!! This is the worst blender ever. Sure--liquids are fine, but even for a banana it needs helps (ie shaking, or mix by hand/cutting into small peiecs). I tried blending julienne carrots and even added liquid to help it, but it couldn't chop them! I think it is because the blades are too small, but man--I am glad I paid half for it, but I am so disgruntled I am taking it back used!!! I am disgusted that all the 5 stars are paid promotions, I didn't notice when I bought it. Please do not buy!

plastic. doesn't chop ice or frozen fruit well at all. terrible at making smoothies. by the time smoothie is finally ready it smells like it's burning. Also, the top doesn't fit tightly. when blender on, top bounces around. If it was fairly full, it would shoot stuff out!

I bought this on 11/7/22 and it was great until last week when it stopped working efficiently, started sounding different and started smelling so bad that you want to puke. I’ve tried using it a few more times and same results. Im going to try and return it asap

This was the worst blender I have ever had. I bought this due to the cheap price but boy you get what you pay for. I wanted to use it to blend smoothies with frozen fruit and this thing literally only blended the bottom barely and even after adding more fluid it was still struggling. The blades are very small and so not get the job done so I am currently looking for a good blender.
