OXO Softworks Swivel Peeler, Black

This is the best peeler I've ever used. Is it a little more expensive? Maybe. But it's a 10/10 quality, and in this day and age of disposable things, I want QUALITY as the real value. Very sharp. Easy to hold. Sturdy. Comfortable for longer peeling sessions.

I thought this peeler was expensive when I bought it but it was the only one left in stock around Thanksgiving. The cheaper ones were sold out and now I'm glad because this one is super sharp and work great! It's definitely worth the money. Now I can make my husband's favorite apple crisp all the time! I would recommend this peeler to anyone!

SUPER SHARP BLADE -- Peel, slice like a Chef! -- OXO Swivel Peeler has a translucent (tiny sheath) covering for the cutter. After each use, I carefully dry and dab (not rub) a few drops of OIL on the blade with a thick piece of tissue %26 rubber gloves -- then-- re-attach little plastic sheath -- (MUST REITERATE handle blade WITH GREAT CARE).

I always like my OXO purchases. They make quality products. This peeler is no different. It's very sharp and nicely weighted for comfort. It cleans easily and includes a protective cover. I like the grip. It's comfortable and I feel totally in control when I'm using it. Nice.

Had a favorite peeler for years that broke %26 needed a replacement. Have had other OXO products %26 liked them so I picked this peeler. Smooth peeling but just a word of caution - blade is sharp! It comes with a blade shield %26 I always put it on after use so I don't cut myself when grabbing it out of the drawer.

I'm very particular regarding the handle of a peeler. Too skinny, too fat or, God forbid, sharp all all problematic. Like Goldilocks, this one is just right!

This the best tool for peeling carrots and cucumbers I have yet to use. Great design allows smooth control while peeling. Very sharp and smooth cut. Just hope it lasts for a while!

Work me vey well and comfortable to use. My reason for giving 4 stars is that a cover for the blade would be nice. I have cut myself trying to pull this out or find something in my kitchen drawer. I ended up covering the blade with foil to prevent future cuts.

didn't have it when they said they did, went to pick it up and they offered me starfrit instead and I refused the substitution and they billed me for it anyway. Extremely displeased.

This is being shipped by Walmart and apparently is going to take 12 days to get to me. I was given no opportunity to cancel due to shipping delay. OnTrac says that "label has been created" and they are waiting for the package, which initially was going to take 5 days to reach me. I am irritated by the lack of communication and opportunity to cancel my order.
