Hammermill Printer Paper, 28lb Premium Color Copy, 11x17, White, 1 Ream, 500 Sheets

This is the best weight paper for creating professional handout, bulletins and promotional materials.

Our agency uses this stock for a program we print every year and usually purchase it through our office supply vendor. When pricing it out I found Sam's club pricing to be a bigger savings and it was delivered right to us. So I will shop Sam's Club more often on some of the high priced office supplies needed from time to time.

I ordered 2 packages and one of the packages wrapping was completely ripped open on nearly every side and top and bottom. The paper was not damaged, and we needed it immediately and were able to use this fine quality paper. So the stars are for the quality of paper, but the shipping clearly has some major issues as you can see from the pictures.

This paper is very very smooth. Some people call it glossy, though it is considered "uncoated". I like it for the way it handles fountain pens. It's great with a fine nibbed Pilot Metropolitan, my Parker 51, and my Lamys, including the extra fine 2000.

The weight did not meet my expectations. It was so light.

I do a lot of printing and use different paper weights (28, 60, 80, 100lb). This paper is a little heavier than the 20lb and works better for me. Hammermill color copy paper is a very good quality paper regardless of which weight. I did not give it a 5 star because this ream had a lot of damaged sheets included. Some of the paper edges were crinkled which caused some paper jams and misfeeds. I had to toss a lot of the sheets. This is the first time that I ever ran across a bad ream of Hammermill color copy paper. I don't know if this ream was considered seconds or if there is a such thing for reams of paper. When I ordered it, it did not specify such. I didn't return I hope this will be of help to you with your purchases. H.L.J.

I am extremely disappointed with the delivery of 11x17 copy paper for use in my office. The package was delivered very damaged, and I doubt I will be able to use much of it. I would like to receive compensation for the 3 reams I paid $77.49 for. I tried to upload pictures but your program would not accept them.
