The only real plus to these are that they are all black which is what I was looking for. However, the cut I find to be a bit uncomfortable compared to other bikini underwear I've bought from Hanes in the past. It doesn't cover that well, but also feels diaper-y in a way because it bunches up.
so i bought these and was soooo excited. the fit was terrible, I think thats part my fault since they are cotton, and im used to stretchy undies. i definitely recommend SIZING UP! my bad 2 starts is because they ripped instantly. one seam popped and the entire front fell. multiple side seams pooped. These were not so small on me that there was a struggle, but i have curves and just pulling them on should not have been so dramatic haha.
‘Breathable' must mean very thin fabric. Washed them before wearing and as soon as I put them on there were tears all along the waistband. Threads were not trimmed at the seams. I am very disappointed, I will probably have to throw them all out. Don't waste your money on these.
I have been wearing Hanes size 5 bikinis for over a decade. I like the solid colored, 100% cotton and I like the style with the waistband where the elastic is covered. I could not find this style in 100% cotton and solid colors. So I ordered what seemed to be the next best thing, 100% cotton with exposed elastic waistband. When I lay them against my previous bikinis, there is 2 inches exposed, so that makes the waistband 4" larger than my size previous size 5's. The cotton is thin and the elastic in the waistband is thin and flimsy. I doubt it would withstand too many bouts in the dryer. Not a happy camper.
I have always worn Hanes and never had any problems until this pack. Three different pairs have come unsewn at the waist band during the first day of wearing them. I am very disappointed in the quality.
The first pair out of the package was never even completely sewn together at the waist band. After trying on the second pair and noticing the uncomfortable fit that felt like it was either cut wrong, or the seams were off center with a twisted feeling, we decided to return them. The waist size was fine, but the depth of the crotch seemed twisted and about 2 sizes to small. Hanes use to mean quality, and I really wish they'd consider moving back to the USA so we could buy quality T-shirts and undergarment again, because the people who are making these garments in third world countries now aren't doing a very good job using their hands to measure material to make your clothing.
About two sizes bigger than the L/size 7 that I have bought in hanes bikinis for the past 35 years.
I've been wearing the same underwear for YEARS. Now they are see-through thin and the leg holes are different sizes. I'm sure the money you save on no longer making a quality product keeps you very comfortable, you ghouls.
These were the closest match to the Hanes bikinis I needed to replace, so I ordered them. The fit is the same, but the material is VERY thin and scratchy.
These are terrible but I guess you get what you pay for. I took them out of the packaging and immediately black fuzz and dust from the cloth fell all over my bathroom floor. I put them on and they are not comfortable. They're not soft, the material is thin, the waistband is itchy, and the cut is not flattering. I ordered a size 6 cause I'm usually a medium but at 5'7, 40” hips, and 150 lbs they still feel too loose, like a band holding a shower cap. I bought these so that I could have all cotton underwear but they are so uncomfortable and unattractive. I recommend Pact for high quality organic, eco and ethically conscious cotton undies.
