They are safe to play with as they have silicone. They are a good learning tool as well with numbers letters and animals on the blocks.

The silicone casing around the blocks add pops of color and texture at the same time as making the blocks safer in toddlers hands. There are not sharp and hard edges due to the silicone casing. My toddler loves stacking these blocks and knocking them over. They are fun and inviting colors.

They are wooden blocks with rubber boarders which makes them incredibly durable when the kids are playing rough with them. They have a fun variety numbers, letters and pictures on the sides as well. I would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have some wooden blocks for our older boy, but our one year old is in the throwing phase so we were definitely in need of something softer. He is at the age that he is able to start stacking, so we needed something sturdy enough for that, but soft enough to not hurt (as bad) when chucked across the room. The letters, numbers, and designs on the blocks are a fun added touch. I can definitely see them lasting for a long time that we can hand them down to the next family.

The wood feels well finished and durable and the soft silicone makes you less worried about the baby tipping over into a sharp corner. It's fun that they have letters, numbers, shapes, colors, objects, etc. So lots of options to learn and play with. Would be nice to have more than ten blocks if you want to make anything though.
