Great primer. I use a thin layer of moisturizer, let it soak in, smooth the primer stick, let it set for a sec, then use bb cream or foundation. The primer sets up a smooth surface, and is not sticky or tacky. My top layer stays looking fresh longer, and I feel like it applies more evenly. Great product, especially for the price! I've used some pricey primers, and this one definitely competes and even outranks some.
Absolutely love this primer. Too bad I can't get it at the store anymore.
This is one of my Holy Grail makeup products. I find myself reaching for it daily. It took some getting used to because I've never used a primer stick before but I'll never switch. I've used hundreds of primers from drugstore to high end. This primer smells great and hydrates the skin without making it too greasy. The cooling feeling is amazing to wake up to and makes you feel fresh. My advice is don't give up on it and use it a few days in a row before deciding if it's for you or not. Using a primer stick felt weird at first but now this will be all I use I hope they never get rid of this product!
It's a very good primer for people who don't like a lot of silicones in their makeup. There should be a disclosure on water based primers to use them only with water based foundations, that way people would not be disappointed when their foundation just sits on top and looks weird. Water and silicones don't mesh well, most foundations are silicone or oil based, and of course they're not going to look good with water based primer.
this was such a cooling primer and it made my skin look flawless like no joke. i have oily skin and it still looked great.
The best hydrating primer I've tried
It's definitely cooling and it's water based so it melts into your skin with no sticky residue or thick feeling. Love that!! Only thing I don't like about this product is the smell of it. It's a strange chemical smell. But over all this is an excellent product. I wish they made the original one with no odor.
This works pretty well if you dab the product in with a beauty blender after applying. It kind of smells weird when it's on the face, but maybe it's just me. I have really oily skin, and it doesn't over-hydrate
I have dry skin and it did feel hydrating and had a nice cooling effect, but my problem was that it made both my tarte Amazonian clay and urban decay foundation stick in only certain spots instead of an overall coverage. All I can do is use it on its own for make up free lazy days.
was hoping this would look good for traveling and quick/ minimal makeup days for the summer but it didnt work for me. it smelled and felt like i was rubbing a glue stick over my face. it was pretty thick feeling and didnt help any dry spots around my nose. my liquid foundation sat kinda funny on it but the powder helped. my face was a little oily at the end of the day but nothing major.
