We got the Ron doll for our Harry Potter mad 6 year old girl. The attention to detail on the doll is amazing, the dolls clothes are so well made and realistic. The doll also comes with a magic wand that can be clipped onto Rons hand and a removable cloak with the Griffindor motive in. Packaging is also very smart and would be great for any collectors that wanted to display they dolls.
Got sent this item to test & review. Has great facial features, very life like. This figure has superb amount of movements in upper & lower body. Very cool idea to be able to remove the clothing. Just find it lacks that the clothing can be removed but no other outfit to apply (example, out of Hogwarts clothing). Trying to apply wand to hand is a bit fiddly. Other issues can be found in pictures supplied.
This collector doll is extremely well made - the attention to detail is notable from the facial features to the clothes, the quality is exceptional and look identical to the characters in the movie. This is a perfect gift for any Harry Potter fan, child and adult alike.
Ron Weasly replica doll is true to the real thing with detailed facial and clothing accurate to the books. At an affordable price point they provide the best possible experience for any child or collector. Highly recommend and a two thumbs up from me.
Ron Weasley was an excellent addition to our younger HP dolls. These are great for younge and old as they are sturdy and have all the movable parts. We do wish that Matel had used real hair but so far it seems that only the girl dolls have real hair. Some new figures are out now so hoping to see them at Walmart.
7 year old daughter liked the figure instantly as she is a Harry Potter fan and she was impressed by the facial likeness to the character in the movie. The figure is a good size and she took it off to play with her other similar dolls. The cloak was easy to put on but the wand is tricky to attach to the figures hand and caused a bit of frustration. It would be have been good if the figure came with more accessories, as this would increase a longer play retention time and could be incorporated with the other figures in the collection. Overall, the figure is well made, of great quality and a good representation of the character and the brand. Perfect figure for all those Harry Potter fans!
We have had this toy for a couple of weeks now, and it is made very well and I'm sure it will last for years to come. The joints move easily but are rigid enough that they keep the pose. I would say this is a collectors item rather than a toy for a child, there aren't many functions to the toy to keep a young child entertained for long. The packaging was muted, again appealing to older children, but stylish and easy to open.
I have children of varying ages, the Harry potter heads (teenagers) didn't want to open it as it would lose value, and the little ones didn't want to play with him as 'he is scary looking'! I would buy the other dolls but only as collectors pieces, not as toys.
I got this doll a few days ago. It doesn't do much. It's a doll with a want and cloak. That looks like ron weasley from Harry potter. It's a great thing if your children or yourself are harry potter fans. It is more like a collectable item really. My child would of liked it more if it had sayings or if it actually done something. We were a little bit disappointed by the doll. But the bonus was my child likes harry potter so wasn't all bad.
My daughter played with it only one day and the leg snapped just below the knee joint. Sheared clean off. Tried to glue it but it is just such an awkward place it won't hold. Tried several things actually. This doll was a lot more expensive than the other characters which I just don't understand either. This was the last doll that she needed to complete her set and we're really disappointed in the quality and the fact that we can't find a replacement.
