Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection (Blu-ray)

If I was going to spend $50 for a box set, I wanted to get Blu-ray and not the DVD set in-store, but I see SOOOO many bootleg reviews out there and couldn't trust third party sellers even though they're cheaper. So, I bit the bullet and ordered directly from Walmart. Seems legit, has copyright and anti-piracy warnings all over, and the discs look real. Do yourself a favor and skip the random third-party sellers if you're concerned about legitimacy. You get what you pay for!

Just got a blu-ray player, so wanted to buy this all on blu-ray too! You might as well buy the boxed collection..Wonderful little box, all of them side by side, great for any Harry Potter fan! Great value!

Its Harry Potter on blu-ray. No commercials. No funny looking colors. It can be paused and rewinded (similar to late 80's early 90's VHS) and fast - forwarded. There is also a scene select option. What more do you want?

As a Harry Potter fan, I upgraded from DVD to Blu-ray when the price became reasonable. I will be giving my DVD collection to a friend who does not have a Blu-ray player. I enjoyed the behind the scenes/bonuses on this collection. I just wish the bonuses would still be available on regular DVDs, (like it use to be) but the industry wants people to buy Blu-ray.

This is a great set of the Harry Potter movies. I originally had a collection of various DVD disks with inconsistent special content. None of them were Blu-ray. I finally traded them in thinking that I would not be interested in viewing them again. I was wrong! So when I saw the ad for a complete Blu-ray set of Harry Potter films at a reasonable price I ordered it. The widescreen presentation is good as well as the special feature content. But best of all is having the added enhancement of Blu-ray visual and sound quality. This is a worthwhile addition to my DVD/Blu-ray collection.

If you are looking for the Harry Potter movies with the extra scenes or the bonus features this is not for you. It's just the movies. When you put the disc in it goes right to the movie and not the menu, that being said you don't have to bother with the previews either. As a Harry Potter fan it's just what I wanted. I own all of the movies on DVD with the special extras but just wanted the movies on blu ray, no frills needed.

These are not the American film DVDs. The back is clearly labeled, “Not for sale outside of Canada”… There should be more clear marking online here that these are not the Blu-ray disc that are made for American Blu-ray players. I wasn't even able to play them on my Blu-ray player, I'm not sure if they are illegitimate or just international versions that aren't compatible. Buyer beware.

This came as the translated French version. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until after the return window had closed as I was waiting for my kids to finish the books before we watched the movies. There are typos and mis-labels on the discs as well!!

I bought it expecting to get a good product but when it came in today the box was beat up and the case was broken in several places, very disappointed I was looking forward to this set.

The case arrived broken. The discs are home burned, the packaging home printed. No menus or features. That may be fine if that is what I was buying but this product is advertised as original content and that's just not what it is. The picture isn't even Blu-Ray quality, the blatantly obvious burn quality is that of DVD. I'm not going to call it bootleg but disappointing and misleading - yes.
