HART 2-Piece 9-Inch All Purpose Reciprocating Saw Blades

Highly recommend! Perfect share, large tooth, blade for cutting wood, like fence boards I used it for. Ease of use, solid, easy cutting. Love the Hart line as I can interchange the same battery for the tools, and they are reasonably priced, good tools!

It's is a good stater blade. I had a couple of jobs set up to use and it held up for a couple of weeks using on a daily basis. After using for a little over a for a month it started to kick back pretty often. This will work for at-home use but not for a contractor that will use for a while.

I was a bit concerned about whether or not there is a universal fit or connection style for all reciprocating saws. But not to worry, these Hart 9 inch all purpose recip saw blades fit right in to my fairly expensive, battery powered brand name recip saw purchased from a local big box hardware store. All the blades used previously in this saw were 6 inch and too short to do a good job of cutting out, for example, interior walls that need to come down. I loaded one of these aggressive toothed blades in and headed outside to check out the performance. While I cannot vouch for its ability yet to cut through nails, this saw did a very nice job of cutting through two by four lumber and a few three and four inch branches that had fallen during the winter storms. I had no PVC to try it out on, but it held its own cutting up an old used tire we are converting to DIY edging. Just an FYI, because of the added length one might note an increase in the vibration radiating through the saw body while pushing hard into the subject wood, etc.

These blades cut 2 x 4's and PVC pipe easily. I haven't had a chance to cut any metal pipes, but I'm sure they will do fine there, also. I like the 9" length much better than the 6".

Just what I needed for pruning my trees.

I have had roofing attached to the top of not-nearly-vertical walls. I have framed walls with windows centered perfectly -- 5.5 inches off-center. And I've checked up on decks that a dog's leg would slip clean through. Then it's time to get back to work. And I end up breaking out the "sawzall" and cutting through the wood, nails, and whatever else is in the way. Because when you've got to clear out the bad to make way for the good, that's the only way to go. Of course, a saw is only as good as its blade. And this here is a mighty fine blade. It's a little thicker than some, so it holds up well. The teeth have a special angle and pattern, that cuts through anything -- just like butter. Wood, nails, PVC, plywood, and what-ever-else. No problems at all. The blade has a special tip, too, to help dig straight in when there isn't an obvious way to cut into things from the side. And the second blade made my old saw seem new again. It definitely saved me some money, right there. Since a worker is only as good as his tools, and a saw is only as good as its blade, this is a solid blade. It has helped me make accidents and well-that-didn't-work-out-like-I-thought, all seem like minor issues for me.
