HART 20-Volt 1/2-inch Cordless Drill/Driver Kit, (1) 1.5Ah Lithium-Ion Battery, Gen 2

It is a shame that Hart is a Walmart exclusive product. They are no longer going to be made. Very well built and reliable. Battery last long, its sturdy, powerful and reliable. Its as good as Milwaukee and other top brands. Just cheaper. My dad has had his for years and has been hard on his and using it a lot. I like the ease of use of it as well.

Needed to purchase a product like this and I definitely chose the perfect one. It's quality, durable, easy to use and so many accessories that are available too. Been buying HART products since I got this. Can't go wrong buying one!

Product arrived Examined box Found box to be in a Pre-Opened-and-Taped-Back condition Assuming all peripherals intact (although evidence that battery bag had opened and resealed) IF YOU ARE GOING TO SELL USED AND / OR PRE-OPENED or DISPLAY REDUCE THE REGULAR RETAIL PRICE AND LABEL IT AS SUCH. Why should I consider any of the below when its in this condition and I haven't even used the product yet.

Like the Hart Product. Don't like the online process for the Battery received. This is the second tool battery that I received that would not charge. THe Drill works well, be a defective battery. Had to again call customer service (Jump through hoops) to get a good battery. I have to wait for the new battery to arrive and hope it is processed and sent. I had to send a receipt, why?. The product is registered today 7/21/25, the Customer Service should be able to process and not require me to send a receipt if I request within 30 days of purchase. Not a good process for the customer (another delay for me to get a good battery, hoping it is tested before sending to me). Now I am contemplating to stay with Hart, or switch to a competitor. I have at least 10 or more hart tools. Does Hart care?????

Unless I received a faulty drill, the battery life is poor, does not stay charged. I bought a very cheap/inexpensive drill six years ago at a large chain, tool supply store for $20, not only did it come with the battery and the charger, he came with it flashlight attachment. That is still going strong and the battery lasts for months with the occasional use, a couple times a day maybe five days a week. Now, as far as power, the heart brand does by far out perform the cheap one that I just mentioned. But, the battery life makes the $60 that they paid for it, the heart drill/impact combo with battery and charger hardly worth it.. after picking up my order from the local Walmart, I brought it home open the box charged it fully. Two days later day I went to use it, and the battery had already drained. I have used it two times, and every time I go to use it, I have to fully charge it because the battery is drained . Not impressed.

So, the little bit I got to use the drill it seemed to work fairly well. The problem is that the battery was not charged and when I tried to charge it it would say that it was charging but not actually charge it. I tried several times and several different troubleshooting steps and couldn't get it to charge. So, as far as what I COULD tell it was very similar to my Makita drill. It had several different torque options that seemed to help me to loosen and tighten bolts on different projects. I also used it to help hang my TV. So, overall, I can tell you that the build quality was good it seemed very solid and the different torque options made it easy to drill when needed and to use as an electric screwdriver. I was able to go through chat option and authorize a return. So, I'm not going to sit here and give it one start because it didn't work. For the little bit I got to actually use it it seemed to work almost as good as my Makita So, I hate to be one of those people that gives a one start rating because it didn't work from the unboxing. So, I'm going to give it three stars. It seems like a solid drill and from the little I got to use it seems to have the same features as my Makita.

I would give this item 0 stars if I could went for a pick up curbside and when I left and got home, I realized it was an open box with tape on it. It had been opened and this was a Christmas gift so I had to go into the store return this is why I don't use curbside pick up.

Ordered this and had it delivered same-day to complete a project. This drill arrived with a non-working battery right out of the box. Called the manufacturer (Hart) who promised a free replacement battery within 10 business days. It has been long past the promised date and have still not received the promised battery. I tried resolving this through Walmart, and the manager required me to bring it back to the store in-person. Paid for this to be delivered, plus driver tip only to receive a product that does not work. Had to find and pay for a new battery online, which was as much as the drill itself. So, I paid more than double the sales price to finally get it to work.

This is the 2nd one I've purchased for my 83yr old best friend. The chargers did not work. Already lost $85 on the 1st 1 and now the 2nd 1 is immediately not charging 😑 This is ridiculous and appalling

brand new drill , never got the chance to use it, battery or charger isnt any good, all charger kept saying was FAULT. pretty sad they never chexked it at the factory before they boxed it up and sent it out to go out to be sold.
