this toolkit is well worth the money I only bought this because I had never tried heart tools but I bought a pair of $11 hart shears and they were the best pair of scissors I ever bought I literally have cut through quarter inch plywood with the hard shears so when I saw there was a sale on the heart five piece tool kit with batteries included I snatched it right up I have not been disappointed all of the tools work just as good if not better as tools that would cost easily quadruple what these do I use my heart tools and professional building applications for my business and they haven't let me down yet definitely worth the money!

This is a great looking set of cordless power tools in a versatile mix that will satisfy the needs of the average homeowner/Handyman. Testing them right out of the box they seem great. If these tools hold-up under some years of use, at the incredibly low sales price I paid, they will be the power tool buy of a lifetime. I was so impressed that I went back on the Walmart website and bought the large drill bit/insert set and an impact tool insert bit set, both of which were on sale for a very attractive price.

The tools themselves are nice and sturdy! They seem to be quite heavy duty. but when I picked up the battery and felt how light it was, I thought no way could this battery be any better than my old big and heavy ones. And I was wrong! I first charged the battery up and I proceeded to use the reciprocal saw to cut down a whole bunch of dead branches from my crap apple tree. and then I had to cut those up and filled up my burn barrel which is 5 ft high. So then I went up into the bathroom and put up a shower bar with about 20 holes and screws. I then cleaned up the mess with the vacuum. And then the next day I put up another bar in one of the doorways and it still had power left! this whole tool set really exceeded my expectations by far! I would recommend this to anybody. And another plus is that it has two batteries! You cannot go wrong buying this! I usually do not write reviews for anything but I thought I had to with this tool set!

Great mix of Hart power tools for around the house. The impact wrench is excellent, and can actually minimize the need for the drill - definitely love the quick change feature for bits and variable speed. Reciprocal saw works great - light weights and balanced well while using (wish they included a blade, however). Sweeper works well, but should be emptied after (even during) use, as suction can be impacted by the dirt you've picked up. Flashlight with pivoting head is also well constructed. I picked up this kit on sale, and paid about the same for the entire kit as the reciprocal saw alone. Storage case is nice feature, which fits the reciprocal saw well, but not more room for much more. Zipper is a bit tricky for me, but keeps everything secure once closed. Definitely recommend.

This kit was a great deal. I had been looking to replace my big old yellow cordless NiCd drill that didn't hold a charge long with a lithium model. I saw the low price on this kit, but i didn't know anything about hart tools, so I did some research and saw mostly good things. I have not used them extensively yet but they have all come in handy so far. I'm pretty impressed so far especially since I got the driver, sawzall, vacuum, and flashlight for less than I was going to spend.

This is a nice, entry level tool kit. Remeber the tools are not brushless in the kit, so uses a little more dated tech. I havent' had these long, so these are more of a first impression review. The impact driver was suprisingly heavy, but well balanced, plent of power to ram in deck screw quickly. 5 stars The drill is pretty much same story, its fairly long from chuck to end of housing, but still well balanced, power decent but its not a powerhouse. Clutch has several modes so you can get the desired torque pretty dialed in. 4 stars due to length, and a lcittle low on power The recipracting saw work well. Its a shorter 7/8 stroke so it take a bit longer to cut something, however its got great power, i couldnt slow it down jamming hard through some 4x4 fence posts. And the quick change blade is a nice option. 4.5 stars, only downside was shorter throw so its a tad bit slower The flashlight in the kit, i was not really excited about it when i saw the specs. I have a ton of other lights for my line of work that im happy with, however i was really shock at how much i liked it. The lumens rating much be true, because its way brighter than i expected. It has, in my opinion, the perfect light output beam pattern. It has a great center hotspot, for longer range lighting, with just the right amount of aurrounding light, and the front twists to different angles so you can set it down, twist it to aim it somewhere. 5 stars all the way The last item in the kit, the vacuum cleaner. Its very simialr to so many other little hand held vacuum cleaners. It has really good suction.... until you put the filter and screen in. Thats the biggest drawback to this tool. The screen and filter, when brand new, seem to cut the suction power in half. I dont know why they engineered the screen with it completly blocked off on top, and only open around edges, but it really cuts down on suction, and plugs up very quickly. Same for the filter, ok, so there isnt much room for a bigger filter, so they should atleast use a better quality filter with more than a few pleats in it, so it doesnt restrict airflow so much.

I was pleasantly surprised by the heft of these tools. I have used the vacuum quite a bit and it is compact and powerful. The only complaint (if you could call it that) is the light seems pretty flimsy. It will illuminate, but I was expecting something akin to a 6 volt flashlight.

I got this for my husband Christmas, he opened it up in April to use he really liked it until he used the riciprocating saw. He tried to cut tree branches and motor gave out on second try. We went to get help from several Walmart's but no help then tried to get an exchange but didn't let us. We have tried for several months. We were told that they had received several complaints on that saw and gave us the direct number for customer service. Still waiting

I wanted to really like this kit of tools as it has a great assortment. But its not as good as I'd hoped. The drill and impact driver both have major sparks going on inside when I use them. Its probably the brushes, but that means the life of the tools will be limited. In fact the drill even smells like its burning. Even tools with brushes in the motors should be sparkless when in use and this is poor design, or poor manufacturing. The reciprocating saw seems not to have the problem (at least not that I can see). The vacuum and light work fine, but frankly they are not why I bought this kit and I don't think they will get much use. Overall what could have been a great power tool assortment at a great price (I got it on markdown), is a disappointment, as I really worry that the tools will burn themselves out in a short period of time. A supposedly higher end brand like Hart should not have such quality issues. I know these are not professional level tools, but even homeowner level tools should be better than these. You may want to look for alternatives to this set...

Ive been through four 1/2 inch drivers in 6 months. they have quit working on me. Or the chuck would start becoming lose on its own and my bithilder would just fall out. or my current drill the first driving speed just burnt out so only the fast speed works and Im going to exchange it again. Thankfully i work at walmart so its easy for me to do so.
