Great durability with rubberized grips which makes it comfortable in the hand. Like the locking mechanism so the tape doesn't snap back at you when releasing. Rare earth Magnetic ends to keep tape to help keep tape in place when using to measure long distance.

The Hart 25 & 30' Pro Grade Tape measure is my now go to tape for all my measuring needs. It will extend over 10 feet before it snaps! Incredible! It has a wide magnetic hook that holds well. The numbers are large and clearly visable and that makes this tape even better. The 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 ready in red, the 8th's are black and clearly marked. The Hart tape measure has a blade stop button underneath the housing that makes this tape measure why I like it so well, it slows down the speed of the retraction so no more sliced knuckles and fingers! The housing is a firm rubber, easy to hold that fits well in my hand and protects the tape when it gets dropped. The wire form clip makes it easy to slide on my belt or pocket. All in all the Hart 25' and 30' foot tape is my new go to tape for all these reasons. They would make great gifts for the handy person or skilled construction people on your gift list, and one for yourself too!! Great,great tapes.

These rulers are really top notch. They are heavy duty and have a magnetic tip. I'm a older guy and must use reading glasses to see fine print. These ruler have large print and are so easy to read. Other ruler do have large print but not the entire length. These do. I got two,a 25' and a 30' both work very well. My oldest son took the 25' one and I kept the 30' foot one. The only 2 reason I didn't give 5 stars: 1 They were very very hard to unpack. Had to use a knife to open. Had to be careful not to cut into the tape measure. 2 I think the belt clip needs to be a bit bigger to clip over belts. Clip is a tad over one inch. All my belts are an inch and three eights or larger. Clip doesn't go around belt. All thing considered these are excellent products and I would recommend them.

This combo tape measure by Hart arrived just in time for my current project. These oversized rubbery tape measures feel great to use, compared to previous non-rubbery tape measure that I've been using for years. When doing projects there have been many instances dropping all kinds of tools due to poor ergonomic design. Any tool that doesn't have a rubber grip to it, is bound to slip out of your hands. Ideally one tape measure should be enough but having two of these, I can keep one on each floor of the house and get right to it, measuring what I need right away. Other than the rubbery oversized feature, this has a metal wire form belt or pocket clip holder to reduce fraying. This is the 1st tape measure I've seen that has fractions on it for general eyeballing. I'd rather see metric on one side and imperial units on the other for comparison and accuracy. Underneath the base there is a tape stop button to control and slow the retraction, in addition to the sliding lock mechanism. Overall, everything about this combo tape measures is oversized. Big oversized molding, big numbers, and a big tape hook. Highly recommended.
