This shelf unit is the same as the Muscle Rack one. Strong and sturdy, the only limit is the thin ("MDF") shelves. Keep your heavy items at the ends of the shelves.

I am very happy with this shelving unit . You can make it tall at 72 inches or you can split it up and make two separate Horizontal shelves. That's how I chose to do it and they don't have to be attached. You can use one in one room and put the other somewhere else. One unit has one shelf and the other one is opened. The assembly was super easy and My husband took about 30 minutes. No nuts or bolts required. Everything slides into place With rivet locks. The unit can hold up to 800 pounds but I will not use them with that much weight lol The shelves are a little cheap and made with particleboard but, will do the job just fine for my needs. Overall, I highly recommend this unit. Whether you need more shelves or Just to store things, Like I did. My garage never looked more organized. I am a female and I put this together in a matter of minutes. The only tool I needed was a rubber hammer. My husband put the pieces on the floor and I put together. The instructions were super easy to follow. The quality and sturdiness of this shelf is impeccable. We put heavy duty totes on the shelf along with heavy equipment and it doesn't move or buckle. Once it was put together it took two of us to move it to the garage. love the added name plate that was included, which made it official. I added before and after pictures. Great heavy duty shelving unit.

My husband is the assembler in the family. He is very impressed with the Hart 36W x 18D x 72 H Heavy Duty Shelving Unit. It is well designed and a snap to put together. Literally a snap as all one needs is a rubber hammer to finish the project. Actually, we could not find the rubber hammer so he used the rubber handle of his standard hammer and it worked quite well. It can be assembled long-wise or tall-wise arranging the shelves however suits you. We placed the top shelf a little lower to accommodate our basement ceiling. I will have no trouble filling the shelves.

I really like the features of this Hart Heavy Duty Shelving Unit. The fact that you can use this shelving unit vertically using the shelves or use it horizontally as a workbench makes it very versatile. The unit is made of steel with five shelves. You can adjust this multipurpose unit's shelves in 1.5” increments to fit your personal needs. It has a rivet lock system that makes it a strong shelving unit system. The unit was simple to put together. My husband and I put this Hart Heavy Duty Shelving Unit Working together. It was easy and took about 30 minutes to complete and have it totally together in vertical shelves, ready to use. It could be put together by one person but by doing it together it just made it very quick and easy. My husband said the rivet lock system was the easiest to put together he had ever used. I plan on using my Hart shelves vertically In my walk-in closet. I want to organize my shoes on it and store off seasonal clothes and accessories on the shelves. My husband and I talked about how nice it would be to organize in our basement with this Hart Heavy Duty Shelving Unit. I would definitely recommend this shelving unit for it's strength and versatility.

I've been looking for a good shoe rack to store all the shoes on and haven't been able to find one and then I received this item and I love it because now I don't have to worry about my hubby and son just throwing there shoes where ever they feel like it, I tell them to put them on the rack and I don't have to worry about tripping over shoes lol.

Hart heavy duty shelving is well made and very easy to put together. I was shocked at how easy it was to put together. Good quality material. I would definitely recommend this product to any one who wants to get organized. the weight each shelf holds is great for garage organization. I will be purchasing this item to put more shelves in my garage.

These are very sturdy, relatively easy to put together (tricky but not difficult). Everything was packaged well and there was no damage to anything. I bought three sets of them and I'll be buying more. There was an issue where one of the side braces was missing from the box which is the reason for the 4/5. It took some doing to get a contact number but once I did, the supplier gave me zero problems and sent the part out immediately. If your box is missing pieces, the company you want to call is Edsal, and the number is 773.475.3131. The only improvement I could really suggest for the unit is to supply some kind of a guard for the bottom/top. The pillars are relatively sharp.

Upon assembly I found that some rivets on the metal for shelves were damaged (bent) and it was not possible to assemble them properly. That's why I could not assemble the shelves the way it is supposed to be. It seems that the rivets were bent during packaging or manufacturing and slipped under the detection of quality control people. It is very disappointing because it seems that the shelves are well designed. Hart heavy duty shelving unit is made from metal and particleboard. It comes with 8 metal sides, 5 particleboard shelves, 20 metal side pieces where particleboards are placed, 4 small metal connectors and plastic edge guards. It seems like a lot of pieces but it is very easy to assemble. According to the manufacturer, the rivet lock system is connected properly once you use the mallet hammer to pound it in place. According to manufacturer, each shelf is able to hold 800 pounds of weight but that is questionable because the inside of shelf is made of particleboard. Shelves can easily be moved by one person while they are in the box. Once they are set up, it is recommended that two people move them around. According to manufacturer, the shelves empty weight is 56 pounds. Dimensions are 72 inches high by 18 inches deep and 36 inches wide.

I ordered two of these shelves in anticipation of getting a storage room organized. FedEx delivered 1 of the 2. the box had clearly been re-taped as it had come apart in several areas. This is a heavy item! Unfortunately, several pieces were missing from the box so I couldn't put the shelves together. They won't just send repalcement pieces, so I had to repackage it in an already crappy box and send it back. Walmart DID refund the price, but it's very inconvenient because I had to reorder and wait again. Then, the reorder appears, and the same thing. Poorly packaged box that is completely re-taped and missing pieces!!! The company needs to strap these boxes when they are being mailed because the are heavy, and the box won't hold up for the journey otherwise!! Plus. FedEx isn't known for being gentle with packages. . . My suggestion is to order double the amount of shelves needed and when the orders arrive and the boxes are damaged and pieces missing, put them all together to make the shelves needed and then return the rest. At least you'd get to start your project.
