This is a great bit set. They are very sturdy. They dont bend like others. They are a good titanium material and come in a ver sturdy case . I was finally able to predrill my holes to finish my laundry room. I would recommend these bits to any professional or a DIY'er like myself.
I love this titanium drill bit set by Hart. First, I love that is has an easy to use carrying case for all those smaller jobs that I have and don't have to worry about the drills falling out and getting lost. I love that it is titanium which makes it a much more durable drill and will last longer than others. The 7 piece set is perfect for all those jobs that you need smaller sized drills. I love to do DIY projects and repairs and want my tools to last and perform well. This set fits the bill. I received this product as part of the Walmart Spark reviewer, in return my honest review.
7 piece titanium drill bit set in a sturdy case. They are supposed to drill better with the angled tips. Good working drill bits are an essential tool. This is a great working set with 7 clearly labeled sizes. They seem good so far & I always need those smaller sizes. The case locks closed to keep the drill bits secure; the white & blue make the set easy to find in your tool bag.
Bought a lightweight drill as well with this purchase. Needed a lightweight around home drill and drill bit set for little projects. Great price BTW. Shipping, tracking and delivery great. The bits were actually delivered by Walmart Home Delivery which was a first, however very appreciated. Great delivery option. Thank you for your continued fantastic service and great products selection.
The case makes the set very convenient to keep and use. The tilting internal case makes access to the drill bits very easy. I've only used one bit thus far, but am very pleased with the performance. I really like the fact that most of the five have dual-cut tips to keep them from skipping. I would definitely recommend this set to a friend.
I went into my little tool kit at home and realized most of the drill bits were missing. I picked these to replace them. I used one the same day they arrived to put up a bracket for a curtain rod that was pulled out. It worked fine. I didn't really notice the difference between these and my old ones which are not titanium.
I used these bits shortly after recieving them. I was working on a project and needed to make pilot holes. None of my bits were small enough. Then I remembered I had these. Worked out great. Made my pilot holes and finished my project without splitting any pieces.
My new Drill Bit set from Hart has more than proven itself after using the bits for my latest project. I had to drill what seemed like hundreds of very fine holes in pvc pipes that I was using to make a drip/spray for a 22 foot raised planter for flowers and shrubs at my home. I had been putting off the tedious task for a while but discovered this Titanium bit set and they are very sharp, hold an edge, and drill very fine holes without a lot of heat or pressure. Besides this, I have only used the bits for smaller wood drilling of screw holes in picture frames to install hooks, and holes needed to install drawer pulls, but each use of these bits has been easier then in the past. I will go out of my way to find Hart replacements when I finally need more.
I had my husband help me test these drill bits because he does more projects then myself. These are good drill bits. We both stated the case was a nice addition. The case has a plastic piece on the side to lock it. When open the piece where the bits are inserted can be lifted up for easy access. This part is also labeled with the size of each bit. Each bit has a hole to securely slide into. Each bit has a no walking easy start, 135 degree split point. However, the packaging states only on sizes 1/8” and larger. Drill bits are titanium. They work on wood, PVC & metal. Product is made in China. My husband and I tested each bit out on current projects and there’s was no negatives that occurred. I cannot review on longevity as I’ve not had them very long.
It's going to sound a little odd, but my favorite thing about these drill bits (because, honestly, how much different can you make drill bits between manufacturers) is the handy little case. It fits very well in my drill case, ensuring these will always be handy. In it are 6 drill bits: 3/16", 5/32", 1/8", 7/64", 3/32", 5/64", and 1/16". Admittedly, the sizes were, at least from what I've purchased in the past, a pretty weird mix of sizes. I can't say I've ever had an actual need for an exactly 7/64" drill bit. Alas, for me, these won't be doing any professional work - more of drilling pilot holes and such. And given that, these perform the job easily. The bits are rather short, so you'll want to use a household (rather than pro) sized drill. Our large drill pretty much swallowed these bits, but the smaller one gave us a bit of drill to go through some wood, which it did easily. Outside of the weird sizes and rather short bits, there's probably no surprises with these. They're Made in China, and on the back of the package there is a picture and the world "metal" that seems to suggest that these will cut through diamond plated steel. If I needed to cut through thick metal like that, it's unlikely I'd go with these - but I didn't have any handy to test my thoughts. All in all, pretty good - about what you'd expect.
