HART Compact Flip Utility Knife with Removable Belt Clip

Couldn't wait to get the knife out of the package. I knew, even before opening the package, that this was going to be a great knife. It has some weight to it.I was blown away at the one handed open and close feature - be sure to get your fingers out of the way when closing. If a box cutter can be beautiful, this one would take the pageant. So well designed. The belt clip is unobtrusive, and can be removed, but it's certainly not in the way if you want to leave it where it is. Okay. Are you ready? I saved the best part for last. Remember the old style cutters that you had to unscrew to change the blade? You know the ones...they're the ones that if you didn't remember how the extra blades were stored in it when you opened it, you'd be spending the next half hour swearing at yourself for being such an idiot because now it won't go together. Then you're gonna love this knife. Press the button, take blade out. Press the button, put blade in. Ta-da! I will definitely be buying more of these! Oh! And an added bonus - comes with 10 blades!

Hart Compact Flip Utility Knife is well made and its really smooth to open and close. The handle is comfortable to hold and I don't find it slippery or challenging to grip. It comes with 10 additional blades when you buy it, (on top of the one in the chamber) and blade change is very easy. I really like the idea of having a really good quality knife where I can just replace the blade when it eventually becomes dull. It is all around a very well made knife.

This is a great utility knife and I really like being able to fold it for easier carrying around especially in a pocket or tool box. The bright white color makes it easier to spot and it's easy to open, just push the black button and you're good to go. Comes with 10 blades in a pop-up safety container. Changing a blade out is also simple and there's a handy belt loop on the back too.

Upon receiving the Hart Compact Flip Utility Knife (which comes with a blade in, as well as extras), I put it to use straight away since I also received several large purchases from Wal-Mart.com and several packages from Amazon at the same time. I unpacked my utility knife and proceeded to open the boxes. The handle on the knife was a perfect and comfortable fit in my hand. There is a button on the side of the knife which, when pressed, opens the knife smoothly; easy open, easy close. I was able to cut my boxes and packages in one swipe which I appreciated. The belt clip is strong and durable. There was nothing fancy about it and it does the trick. The extra blades are stored in a hard clear plastic case and they are easy to remove when a replacement is needed. Overall, the Hart Utility knife is a great addition to a home toolbox.

I received the Hart compact flip utility knife for review. It couldn't have come at a better time. I ordered most of my groceries etc. on line and receive in boxes. The knife works so well with a push button that opens and closes the blade . It uses regular size blades and comes with 10 blades. It's about 6.5 inches long and fits my hand perfectly. It also has a belt clip that i do not use. There is a limited lifetime warranty and should last for a long, long time. That is if I don't lose it. The blades are sharp of course and all and all the knife makes short work of cutting through and down boxes. I also use in my crafts. Using it to cut through foam board etc. There is a good substantial weight to the knife and is a higher quality item. I am very pleased this knife and would recommend it.

This is a very nice work/utility knife. Very heavy-duty and the quality of it is fantastic. Feels like it will last a long time and not wear out. There is a button to push to release the blade which is nice (it does NOT fling the blade out). There's a hole going through it for a string/rope slot. Comes with a pack of razors as well. The only thing that I don't particularly like is the belt clip, it's very thin and flimsy, I feel like if there were workmen that are rough on their knives, the clip would either bend or break off. Other than that, it's a very nice heavy duty work/utility knife. I recommend this product.

This knife is awesome for several reasons. It's sharp, made of sturdy and quality materials, it's convenient and easy to use. Normally when I'm using a box knife I'm in constant fear of cutting off an appendage!! This d knife is great! I love that it's actually full size but you can fold this knofe away for easy storage. It's got a clip on the side so that you can fold it up and carry it either on the outside of a pocket or on a pocket inside your tool tote or utility belt. It comes with a clear shield to cover the blade for antra security too! This knife glides through boxes without catching and making you jump in fear of getting cut.

I really like this utility knife. It's ergonomically designed so it fits comfortably in my hand. I have small hands so it's a must to have a good fit when you're working on a project or whatever it's used for. This utility knife is compact and can be folded when not in use. Another fantastic safety feature is that it has a locking mechanism when it's folded. It's a great feature when you have younger curious kids around. The utility knife also has a wire clip attached so it can easily slide onto the waistband of any pants. But it's also compact enough to fit in your pocket. Extra blades come in the package as well so you have more blades on hand to get your project completed. At first I thought it would be better if it had more cushion around the base but it's a utility knife. It's meant to be abused. This is my go to knife for all my projects now.

This utility knife fits perfectly in my small hands. I often have problems with tools being 2 large 4 my small hands and fingers, so this is a welcome benefit. The wire belt clip is sturdy enough 2 clip 2 my sweat pants, no belt needed. The one-handed flip open and close button does work with 1 hand. The reason I rated this only 4 stars is because after just a few uses, the blade did not fully flip open and I had to manually open the knife 2 the locked position. Cuts great and straight.

if you have to make a lot of cuts with cutter it will start to hurt your index finger if not wearing cloves , you finger ends up on top of the blue slide button just not happy with i got better cutting action with a trow away cheap cutter , since i dont have the recite i`ll just toss in my tool box as last resort use
