HART Magnetic Hex Shank Right Angle Drill Attachment

This is a pretty neat little tool and a great add-on to anyone's toolbox! Sometimes you find your working and tighter locations than you would like and this is the solution for that. Now I can get to those hard to reach places without using a nubby screwdriver and gripped the way I need to to make sure things lock in place as intended. The design is very basic, but 100% functional. It doesn't require a lot of space to get maximum results.

I like the size and shape, but only made for lite duty. I had the bearing cover come off on the first day.

This was listed as compatible with impact drivers. It worked fine for light work, drilling small pilot holes and driving wood screws for blinds, but on the second day of use (I'd say less than 60 uses) it fell apart. Like many 90 degree adapters this only uses a magnet for bit retention. A lot of the 1/4" shank drill bits have a non ferrous alloy shank that is not magnetic, so they just fall right out if angled downward or when trying to reverse the bit out from the work. I don't fault the adapter, but just keep it in mind. Gave it 2 stars because it might be adequate for low torque 1/4" electric screwdrivers.

Broke within the first minute.

I used this item twice and the bearing retainer fell out . I tried to press it back in, but it kept falling out. I am still waiting for my refund .
