Great little item- love the pencil tucked into it for easy marking. It wasn't totally intuitive to me, so I did have to break out the directions. It appears to be pretty accurate; helped me find my studs. It doesn't detect PVC piping behind the wall, so watch out for that if you're in an area with plumbing. I was being very careful, so I didn't damage my pipes.

This stud finder was easy to use. I particularly liked being able to see the width of the stud and its ability to provide indication of any energized electrical conductors in that wall area. I have not used it enough to determine battery life or durability of the device, but so far I am really happy with it. I think this more advanced stud finder and energized circuit detector was well worth the added cost compared to less costly and less advanced stud finders.

This device works. It actually finds the center of the stud. It locates the stud thru the fiberglass shower stall enclosure that I was putting Stainless Steel Grab Bars in. I needed to locate the studs to make sure I was not going to hit any before drilling a 1 inch hole in the fiberglass for the grab bar holder. This stud finder located them in the wall thru the fiberglass, the insulation, and the air space, successfully. Astounding performance.

This is easy to use and much more accurate than others I've tried. I easily found a stud to hang a large TV.

I'll need to now exactly where to go in the wall for something it'll give me a signal but when I move over all of the sudden the signal isn't in the same spot anymore so it's still somewhat of a guessing game. Definitely would've returned it if it wasn't already open

For quick use, this item works well.It is not as sensitive as a lot of the other ones, and you need to be aware of that.It's not that expensive , so it works well for the price

it's very tempromental. getting the green light to show where the middle of the stud is long enough to mark it. it missed 4x before it got it right. after that it worked better. Yes I will try to go back and change the would I recommend this product to yes. Has quite a glitch . go back to the drawing board and work a lil more on the sensor picking up wall studs. over all it is a good product just needs a lil more work i was trying to find studs on 1/2 inch wafer board.

All you have is sheet rock, this should be just fine. If you have plywood with studs behind it, it also works to find the center of the state. Seeing where live wire is works perfectly. However, what I have are plaster and lathe wall walls. Despite my best efforts, I cannot find a stud. I'm so frustrated. I'm going back to the strong magnet and just take my time.

it is awful, my son was installing my grandson's autistic swing "purpose for buying" and it didnt find a stud at all i now have 3 holes in my ceiling 😢 😕 😞 😔
